Happy Endings Dog Rescue does what I wish I could do if I could give up my day job. They rescue dogs from kill shelters and rehabilitate them for Forever Homes. They are near and dear to my heart because they focus on saving large breed misunderstood breeds that are often judged by their bully looks, muscular body build, markings, color, and sometimes unfortunate botched ear croppings that leave them disfigured outcasts thanks to a human. My most passionate mission is to discredit BSL(breed specific legislation) as antiquated as baning a man from a restaurant based on the color of his skin. Yes I think BSL is = to racial profiling. It judges a dog based on their color and bone structure not their good or bad deeds. Any breed can be a «loving family member» if they are raised as such and any breed can go bad if left to their own to roam the streets. I donate to this organization as often as I can so they can continue to pursue their mission to find a loving home for«misunderstood and abused dogs». I hope that one day I will be in a position to do such a worthy cause.
