So in a way I am glad and not so glad to be the first reviewer of Slater Well Drilling. I know myself, as someone who always looks at reviews, that just 1 good review, might be assumed to be a friend or family. There is evidence out there that people are more likely to review in complaint than to give a review of good service. For the most part I’m sure we would agree that is true. I have to say that as a customer needing well work, it is a very uncertain business. Even if you are well educated or have had much experience in wells, there are no guarantees. So you can understand why I would be skeptical when Glenn Slater GUARANTEED his work. I kept saying, «if it is fixed», and he kept saying«it will be fixed». I told him«if» he did, I would hug him when it was over and fixed. I had a well with a bad recovery rate… it took 20 min to get 2 gallons at one point and the well only ever had about 60 gallons of water in it. My husband and I were able to make due but we could never have guests without running out and when we decided to rent it out, it became a source of great stress for our renters and us. We previously had tried different things prior to renting or house and thought it was fixed. It was not and got worse actually. Our renters ran out of water almost everyday. The Slater family gave great service and without drilling, we’re able to rehabilitate my well so that it now gives up 3.5 gpm and the well is full of water up to 200+ gallons! It’s like a miracle! Due to very unfortunate circumstances I was unable to give the Hug to Glenn Slater Sr. but I did give to his son Shane. I’m sure it was awkward for him… haha but it was that much of a miracle to us. So before you go assuming your well is dried up, give them a call. You may just save yourself a ton of money and witness a miracle!
