Rona is so sweet and hospitable. I was really impressed with the ambiance of the place. It was very cozy and homely. I went for eyebrow tinting and ended up learning so much more. She is very talented and I will definitely come back for more of her services. I definitely recommend this place.

I went in for an Eyebrow tinting from a Groupon voucher. Rona was so sweet, she explained everything she was going to do and gave me tips on skin care and additional services she could provide. She never pushed me into purchasing anything and she really makes you feel like you are her priority. The eyebrows came out nice and subtle, just what I wanted. It was my first time and I might just make another appointment.

Today was my first time with Rona! (Had to take advantage of spa week!) Rona was referred to me by a friend who raved about her. and let me just say that Rona is awesome! She is very down to earth, professional, warm, and personable. While she has many great products. she does not push her stuff on you which is so refreshing! I had the pumpkin facial and my skin is glowing!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. I already booked my next facial and can’t wait to go back!

fantastic service! i was relaxed from the moment i walked in. Rona took her time to explain everything in detail and answered all of my many questions. Even after the chemical peel i had done she spoke to me about after care and gave me lots of samples to help get my skin back on track. She even wrote everything down for me so i wouldn’t forget which product to use when. I would highly recommend her, She is patient, knowledgeable and, very passionate about her clients.

Bottom line: I have acne prone skin and Rona was able to clear it with her chemical peels. She has pictures to prove, just ask to see them. I went to her bc I knew her through Facebook, through a mutual «friend». I was going to many upscale salons for facials and they never tried to help cure my skin. Rona, on the other hand, gave me a client centered approach, helped me make informed decisions, was non threatening in terms of product sales, and always gave me much time and care despite her packed schedule. I’ve been to her a total of 10 times and always have a great experience, I look forward to seeing her and being treated. My clear skin is evidence that she knows what she is doing. Hows that after years of a pimple face? What is more is that she follows up after each peel through text message to ask how my skin is doing. Oh, and one last thing: she text messages me appointment confirmations and I have never received telemarketing spam in the 8 months I have been going to her. You will not regret chemical peels with Rona.

I have had serveral different services with Rona and have always been treated with the utmost care and consideration. She is supremely experienced and talented in what she does. I would not go to anyone else. Her products are as promised and everyone of her recommendations have been spot on. I would not go to anyone else. She is a wonderful esthetician and runs a tip top show.

I had several facial treatments by Rona and she has always been gracious, kind and extended lots of TLC during all of my appointments. On a professional level if she was running late due to clients coming late, I have received phone calls giving me the opportunity to make adjustments in my schedule. Rona is skilled at what she does, she knows her stuff and I trust her enough to send my son to her for a facial.

I am a loyal customer of Rona. She is a consummate professional, who not only excels in her field but has a generous, caring spirit. Her products are great and her attitude superb. I live out of state now, but am back in NY on a monthly basis. Rather than go to any one of the many spas available to me at home, I always schedule time with Rona. Her pricing is very reasonable, with a wide variety of services available. She is a gem!!!

This woman is rude, nervy and high strung. When I called to make my first appointment, Rona insisted on how she MUST have my email to put me in her VAGARO Salon Booking system. I tried to resist based on past experience with spamming, but I gave in, upon her insistence. This system connects all records about a customer to all other salons that may want to check up on you or telemarket you! The day of the appointment, I was in my doctor’s office. The doctor was running so late, that I needed to notify Rona that I would be late or to change my appointment. It was one hour before. Rona was so annoyed when I called, and in her nasty tone) she YELLED that should have called 24 hours in advance. I am sorry, but I didn’t plan on this. She could have been more polite and not so bitchy and had the opportunity to take me a little late or reschedule. I didn’t plan on being late, but I called just in case I was going to be late. Spitefully, she added a comment to the website appointment book that I cancelled an appointment less than one hour before. Needless to say, I hung up on her. I wanted to have permanent makeup done, but I am so glad that I didn’t have it done by her. She is WAY TOO PUSHY and probably would have insisted on something that I didn’t want, just because she wanted it. This, along with other salons, are in the customer service business. A kinder, more gentler approach is needed in this business. Rona needs to have an attitude adjustment and just grow up — it is the real world, and sometimes people get sick and see doctors and doctors run late! No wonder she needs to offer her services so cheap on Groupon — she probably can’t get enough appointments when the competition has much nicer personalities. I would never use a stylist or artist with an attitude like this. Take a lesson from Tabitha.

Great experience at Nu Glo Spa!! What an amazing hidden (and reasonably priced) gem for anyone who has to get facials at least once a month!
I go to Rona once a month and get the facial and my face has just cleared up considerably. Rona was very funny and honest from the start, She made a few recommendations which I followed, and, most importantly, she took her time with extractions, thoroughly cleaning my skin to the point of it, literally, glowing. I was very grateful and happy to have found exactly what I was looking for.

Organized and high end services. Rona is terrific and the work she does definitely garners results! Whether it’s skin tightening — for all those fine lines around the eyes and mouth — or the cavi lipo to tighten the abs that no amount of sit ups seems to budge, it’s worth every penny for self-​esteem maintenance! I highly recommend!
