Elegant Temptations

I had Elegant Temptations do my wedding cake and I couldn’t be more satisfied! From the very beginning at the tasting to the communication in between to the taste. I had them do a mini Trojan for my husbands college and it was adorable! So many flavors to choose from and OMG they were all so delicious! All my guests raved about the cakes and my hubby who is extremely picky enjoyed it! Thank you so much ET! My cake was perfect!

My company was very disappointed in the way elegant temptations handled our anniversary gala. The cake they designed for us was a «cheap» version of what I’m sure they were capable of. They had the contract through the coral gables country club and instead of opting for individual desserts we decided to have a beautiful cake. Indeed it was anything but! It was horrible and although I am sure they could have done a great job… They chose not to. What was supposed to be one of the highlights became a major embarrassment. And zero apologies when confronted ! Would not trust them for a corporate event again.

I hate that it’s taken me so long to write a review. I recently wed on January 2014 and ET was one of the Cake Vendors I could choose from. After visiting all of the vendors, including a terrible experience with Ana Paz (which you can check out here on Unilocal as well, mine’s the reallyyyyyyy long one!)
I was so HAPPY to go with Rosie and her fabulous crew! My cake came out MORE BEAUTIFUL than I could ever imagine!!! The cake was so0o0o0o0 delicious and moist and just PERFECT! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We were glad to see the beautiful cake that Elegant Temptation provided for the Quinceanera we captured photos of this past Saturday. This cake was amazingly created specifically for the birthday girl. The cake featured the exact colors and topper to match the theme of this party. We were able to take some great pictures that will be posted as soon as possible. Looking forward to the next event we collaborate on.

Recently had a wedding cake tasting experience here at Elegant Temptations and gave them high marks. This place is definitely worth the drive. When you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Since we were with a package, we were shown pictures of cakes within our package, and we quickly were able to make a selection with the cake styles they provided. The presentation of the cake tasting samples were impressive and their cakes and fillings tasted the best. Rosie, the owner and Isabel, her assistant, are hands on, and aim is please in every way. Since the wedding cake is such an important part of the decision making process of a wedding, coming here made it less stressful, enjoyable, and a fun experience. They work well with changes, are organized and are prompt in getting back to you.

Have you seen Last Cake Standing, Ace of Cakes or one of the plethora of cake-​themed shows on the food network? If you enjoyed them, you will want to look up Rosie for your next special event. I remember visiting her when our wedding date was just around the corner, very cutely voicing my opinion (I wasn’t the one who’d be wearing the veil) that we should go with Ana Paz, who makes great cakes. Two things happened.
1. I didn’t die
2. We used Elegant Temptations for our cake.
No, I did not get outgunned when it came time to make our decision. Her cakes were beautiful, whimsical, creative and still quite delicious. I was blown away. I had also (cutely) insisted that I wanted a chocolate layer, which my wife agreed to, but the reality was that her other flavors were incredibly good and I opted for other flavors (is my wife a devilish genius or what?). Chocolate still ended up in one of the layers, but really, I wouldn’t have missed it at all. For that special event, absolutely search out Elegant Temptations for delicious works of art
