Baptist Health Urgent Care Centers

I had great care by the doctors and nurses at this facility. Very caring and personal, but I will never go back. I pay a lot for my health insurance and I have no problem paying my copays. What I refuse to pay is the extra 200 – 300 bill that comes with a visit her for a facility fee or a dr fee. It has happened to me 2 of the 3 times I recently went here. Sorry, I will go to memorial in pines and leave with no extra bills.

My five year old had a bad cough for over a week. Her doctor was unable to see her so I decided to take her to Baptist Medical Plaza. When I arrived I was pleased that the facility seemed clean and the staff was friendly. I asked the receptionist about how long it would take to see a doctor and she informed me that it would be 45 minutes. Needless to say, 45 minutes turned into almost 3 hours. When we arrived in the back room, there was a drop of blood on the floor.
The wait was way to LONG for a 5 year old patient. A nurse did go out of his way to bring my daughter cookies and water (which I must say, I appreciated). The check up with the doctor took about 5 minutes total. He seemed to be very knowledgeable. I can’t give this facility a high rating due to the fact that there was blood on the floor and the front desk was so far off on time. This is extremely important when you have a child with you.

This is the best urgent care establishment I have been to in Miami. It is kept very clean and the staff is very friendly. The wait time is still long but it’s shorter than the other urgent care places I have been to over the past few years. I have been to this location 3 times.

Clean, quick and so pleasant. My boyfriend busted his brow during a rugby game, it didn’t seem like the butterflies would really help it heal properly so we went in for stitches.
There was no line, and even they attended us so courteously and even gave me a blanket to keep warm while waiting for my boyfriend to get his stitches.

I want to give this place a whooping 10 stars. I woke up this morning with severe congestion, the unbearable kind. I first went to the Doctor’s Express clinic, but was extremely disappointed as to how the doctor did his examination, all of 10 minutes. So, I left and headed down to the Baptist Urgent Care right down Pines. From the moment the nurse took me to the exam room to how thorough Dr Vazquez was, I was just so impressed and every so often she would be coming by to bring me a can of Gatorade. I have never met a physician so attentive and so caring and I left the wonderful place feeling a lot better. Thank you Dr. Vazquez!

The great news in you will be tended too very quickly. The bad news … once inside, it will be awhile until the Doctor sees you. All in all, better than visiting the actual Doctor’s office because even with the delays, you’ll still be out faster.
