Very good not so fast food. Good value, will repeat visit, but not on the top of my list for great Cuban food, but then McDonald’s nowhere near best for American either! Go here first!

The prices are very good, the pan con bistec could use more meat as for my preference and maybe«pan de medianoche» would make it even better. The chicken bowl on the other hand, was very tasty and very similar to a homemade latin dish and the frita was also a very good fast food fix. Oh and I can’t forget my «café con leche» when going to any latin restaurant and by the way, it was pretty good.

Awesome food, price and taste… and now they serve breakfast too! A must try for those who love Cuban food and flavors, and want to keep the budget affordable. Various locations throughout Miami make it easier to find a spot wherever you may be.

They have $ 5 all day breakfasts. Their tequeños are delicious and their café con leche is served when you get there if you ordered takeout so it doesn’t get cold. It’s a small action but it showed me they care. I’ll definitely be stopping by again soon.

I don’t always eat fast food, but when I do, it’s Cuban fast food in suburban Miami. After all, that city has not earned its nicknames«Little Cuba» and the«Capital of Latin America» in vain. Cuban Guys is a local Cuban fast food chain with four locations in the Miami area(does that even qualify as a chain, or maybe just a local fast food restaurant with four branches?). The Frita Cubana is a perfectly seasoned beef burger topped with crisp string fries and onions. The beef patty is on the thin side, so a regular Frita Cubana is somewhat imbalanced in terms of the proportion of beef to toppings. As such, I’d suggest ordering the Frita Doble, which is the version with two patties. You can also have Swiss or American cheese added to your Frita and make it a cheeseburger(cheese makes everything taste better, doesn’t it?). I enjoy the Vaca Frita sandwich even more than the more popular Frita Cubana because the strands of shredded beef and string fries tend to get interwoven, and give the sandwich a very interesting blend of chewy and crunchy textures. The breakfast sandwich is small but hearty; a simple egg and cheese sandwich topped with string fries on a soft roll. The real reason I keep going back to Cuban Guys is the flan, particularly the cappuccino flan, the dulce de leche flan, and of course the guava and cheese flan. I wish they’d also start making mamey flan; that would make me completely happy. They do have a mamey shake, which is pretty filling; I don’t always have the stomach capacity for a sandwich, a flan and a shake, so I get the shake in a disposable cup to enjoy it a couple of hours later. The staff at the locations that I have visited have always been friendly and courteous, and this location is no exception. Every visit to Miami now starts with a stop at one of the Cuban Guys locations on the way from the airport to whatever part of Miami the trip takes me.

I found this place on Unilocal because I was in the area! It’s a little cute restaurant that they painted blue white and red with an awesome outside area that you can’t miss. I got the deluxe steak sandwich with a side of fries! ITWASAMAZING. I still think about that sandwich. Must try if you’re around and enjoy steak sandwiches with the little chips inside.

I have to say, that I now love this place. I had originally tried one of their other locations, but I was not fully satisfied. I wrote a review on it, and the owner reached out to me and asked me to give them another shot, so I did. I have actually gone back twice since then. I came to this location on a Saturday, and it was quite busy. The staff was moving fast, so I didn’t have to wait long. I ordered 2 chicken bowls and a tres leche for dessert. The employee who attended me, Felix, was great. I am big on customer service, and I appreciate the great great service I received here. My food was ready in about 7 – 8 minutes. I ordered it to-go and enjoyed it at home. The bowl was packed with food. It had rice, black beans, chicken, platanito maduro, and some crispy bread things?(I’m not sure what it was, but it was crunchy). It was so much food, I couldn’t finish in one sitting. Everything tasted so good. My bf also enjoyed the bowl. We are now fans of this place. The tres leche was also very yummy. If it wasn’t for the owner that reached out to me, I’m not sure whether I would have returned. I appreciate that the owner took my opinion seriously and asked me to give them a another chance. I am glad I gave them another chance, because this is now my lunch spot during my break from work. p.s: Download the burger beast app to get 10% off your next visit.

Very good fast food Cuban cuisine my sister and I usually just go for the pan con bistec(steak sandwich) very yummy! The only negative about this restaurant is the location(Hialeah gardens) this one in specific is way to busy and don’t feel comfortable usually eating there, the cleanliness of the restaurant isn’t too good either which usually that’s my #1 in what I look at on restaurants. Other than that the steak sandwich is delicious! Wish they delivered.

I have no words to express my experience today. I have been coming to Cuban guys for about a year. I always loved Cuban guys but I have been disappointed more and more each visit but I never give up on them always blame a bad cook but today was officially my last time at Cuban guys. The meat was not cooked properly and there was a dead maggot in my frita. I told the cashier and he made me another one and it wasn’t cooked. Long story short I couldn’t eat it because I was thinking about the maggot. When I got home I went vomit. I should call the FDA, I can just imagine if there was a maggot in the meat there must be Roaches and bugs all around that damn kitchen Stay away at least from this location

This place is very welcoming. The staff is nice. I’ve been here a few times and they have yet to mess up my order! They are diligent in their services. I love the soda machine; it has tons of flavors! More fast food restaurants should consider getting those machines! I recommend the Frita bowl! It taste very good and leaves you full. I don’t recommend the Pan con Bistec. Personally, I think it’s too small and it’s not juicy at all. I love my pan con Bistec to be real Cuban, thick juicy steak dripping sauce and with papitas!!! It’s a good place to stop by for fast food Cuban food. It taste great!

My husband LOOOOOVES Cuban Guys, so no matter what, I have no choice in whether or not we eat here! The food is a good alternative to traditional fast food. I always have their Frita and my husband has the double Frita. The yuca is okay — honestly, I wish they would have cilantro garlic sauce aside from their mayo-ketchup concoction! The rice bowls look pretty good, and I’ve heard that the pan con bistec is pretty good as well. Although this place isn’t mind blowing, I’m glad they opened up shop. It’s nice to have somewhere else to go than McDonald’s and the like. We frequent!

The fritas are so so good and paired up with a mamey milk shake, it’s even better! Also had the frituras de malanga and they were good too. Down side, it’s a little pricey for cuban good, but very clean place!

Their slogan says it all: «Not just fast food, it’s awesome food fast». I’ve visited this place twice this past month and everything I have tried has been great. The first time I ordered the vaca frita bowl with a «jugo de melón» or watermelon juice. The bowl arrived with plenty of rice, black beans, vaca frita, home-made shoe-string potatoes and maduritos(fried plantains). It was a generous portion and delicious as well. The second time I went I ordered the frita(Cuban burger) which arrived fresh off the grill and well seasoned, topped with shoe-string potatoes and grilled onions. Another hit as well. I loved this place and plan to visit it many times more.

As Pitbull would say Dale !!! Cuban Guys is a great concept. Growing up in Hialeah in the early 90’s or as my American friends would call the Northern most tip of Cuba, there was a little mom and pop restaurants all over city that dished out some of the best cuban fritas, cuban sandwiches and milk shakes in all South Florida. Cuban Guys took the authenticity of the food and the concept and added capital and made a chain of delicious cuban food. Now this is not restaurant type cuban food it’s more of a fast food concept. I would compare it to a hispanic version of «Five Guys Burgers» However, with better food and some added«Saźon» I ordered a Pan Con Bistec and Batido de Trigo. In addition, I went with a tamale as a appetizer. Tamale: Was very good, it came and appeared to have been made in it’s own leaf. Very juicy and soft, the corn flavor was evident. It was paired with cooked onions which gave it amazing flavor. There is nothing worse than having a dry tamale. I am pretty sure it was boiled and you can tell it came off the pot and into my plate. Pan con Bistec: Isn’t there something about cuban bread that makes everything in life better. I mean if your hispanic you can make anything with cuban bread or pair it with any dish. The Pan con Bistec is the center stone of that. Soft tender stake, soft string fries, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and cuban bread! Perfection!!! Just like in the mom and pop places, with fresh ingrediants and soft and warm cuban bread. Batido de Trigo: Milk and Wheat = Heaven with a straw! Creamy yet with enough substance of wheat to make orgasmic in my belly… You guys should open a store in Miami Lakes, I’ll probably be your duke !!!1

Put it this way, me and my cousin ate here & tab was $ 50.00 we literally ATEEVERYTHING! Not trying to say it’s pricey, it’s just that We fell into this eating disorder ordeal that made us feel the need to order dis order of vaca frita, dis order of pan con bistec, dis order of papitas fritas, and dis dessert. The people next to is asked themselves if these two skinny chicks can pound all that. We went hard! I did get food coma but it was the best induced coma I’ve put myself through. The only reason it lacks one star is because the platanitos maduros were diced? And from the taste I can tell they were previously frozen. No bueno! I still ate it but that was the only downfall. That coconut candy thing at the front… ooh take one to go, it’s only like a dollar.

I’ll make this short and sweet. Cuban guys is a good place to eat around Hialeah Gardens. I had their pan con bistec and while it was made authentic, the flavor of the steak was a bit too tangy for my pallet. Cuban bread toasted to perfection and definitely big enough to share. I also had the mini papa rellena a which didn’t taste like they were home made(sad). All in all Cuban Guys gets a 3 because they’re just OK Enjoy!
