I’ve tried to eat at their brick and mortar location 3 times during assumed traditional operating hours(since hours cannot be found on Facebook, Unilocal,or basic Google searching). Drove by today and, finally, the shutters are open and the door is visible! Lights are on! We hop out of the car and as soon as we open the door to the cafeteria, an old man behind the counter starts shouting«Estamos cerrado!» multiple times with no pause or offer to provide hours. It’s 2PM on a Saturday… I guess that’s Hialeah for ya! Needless to say, won’t be driving by a 4th time.

Well, pronto, tendrán clientes nuevos. Ya ella a llamado a todo el mundo. Ustedes son los únicos que hacen una verdadera crema de malanga and, I quote, «yo pensaba que iba a ser como en otros lugares… aguada.» Very nice job: e) Mother didn’t even want to eat anything. As you know, I have tried your Crema de Malanga already. Long story short, both of us have been going to the dentist. Today, it was my turn as well. So I said, «well since we can’t chew anything hard let me pass by Daddy’s for some Crema de Malanga since it’s on the way home.» I knew that sooner or later with the hunger she had, she was going to eat it. Entonces, soon, you will have new clients. She has taken the liberty of calling everyone. You are the only ones out there that make a real Crema de Malanga y, yo cito, «I thought here it was going to be like everywhere else… watery.» Muy buen trabajo… oh darn it, how do you do a smiley face in Spanish. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Parking here stinks. The nursery next door has all the spots in front of this business reserved BUT, at the northern-end of this small shopping center there is some parking that isn’t reserved and behind as well. * Language here is español but, you will be understood in English. * Everything they serve here is wonderful and delicious. Try their shish kabobs, which, is what put them on the map when they were only a food truck. * That school behind is Miami-Dade Community College Hialeah Campus. It is very busy with students who keep this restaurant busy. #KeepItLocalHialeah #Hialeah

I got a Cuban frita at their food truck, and it wasn’t anything like I expected. It wasn’t really like any other frita I’ve had before, the meat was like a regular American burger, and it was pretty raw on the inside. It was cooked to like, a medium, or medium-rare. I like my burgers well done, I don’t like feeling like I’m eating raw ground beef. The bread wasn’t Cuban bread, however, it was still really good bread. For $ 5, the size of the frita was good. Being half Cuban myself, growing up eating and being a fan of Cuban food, this really disappointed me!

Nothing wrong to say about this place. First: they know your name and treat you like family, always a nice attitude. 2nd: the homemade sauce is to die for. I would dip any food in that! 3rd: the chicken sandwich is the best i have tried ever! And you cant miss the daddys burger is awesome! If you go there once, you will definetely go back again.

Steak pinchos(ask to grill with chimichurri sauce) were pretty good but I wish there was a dipping sauce. Roll that came with it was great also. Food was ready in 3 minutes, service is great!
