Went today, Tuesday at 7:30 pm. I specifically asked how long the empanadas had been sitting. This man looked me in my face and said he had JUST made them. $ 3 empanada & it was INEDIBLE. The cheese was like wax stuck to one side with two or 3 pieces of «ham.» Literally took 1 bite and I swung it out the window. Hard as a rock. Why would you willing serve this? Disgusting and it’s okay, it was the end of the day… but why lie about it? I didn’t turn around because I had people waiting for me but I will never purchase any of their food again. Dishonest business.

I just got some Heavenly Hash ice cream that is so old it tastes like dirt and if that wasn’t enough, the dork that sold it to me had the biggest attitude. Driving to pay 6 dollars for dirt, horrible!

La Vaquita! I was pleasantly surprised that they are still around. For those of you who have grown up in Miami know that Cubans nicknamed it «La Vaquita»(the little cow) because of the large cow displayed as the store sign. It’s a Miami icon of sorts. Perfect on those days when you want to go to a drive-thru mini-store … and you just don’t want to go through the hassle of parking, or maybe you’re still in your jammies. and you want to pick up something like milk, eggs, bread, cigarettes, beer … or you just gotta have that ice cream NOW, then find the nearest La Vaquita. You may pay a slightly higher price, but it’s convenient.
