Unclean gym, they discontinued our well attended Yoga classes, management is unresponsive to emails or phone calls this place is a disaster I only stay b/​c of the many friendships I’ve made and I enjoy my class instructor

So… my contract finalized its terms after 3 years. I was told I needed to write a letter to stop having the payments be taken out of my checking acct, no prob! I did it.
Next month, there goes the charge! I called the gym, ask to speak to the manager, all of the women who answer the phones are incompetent to say the least. I must have left about hmmm 35 messages.
Today…3 months into the same dilemma, I was finally able to get the manager on the phone! I was shocked myself. She then tells me there’s no way for her to know when they received my letter asking to stop the payment withdrawals.
So I say,” well the letter is dated 06/​14/​2011, the mail doesnt take more than 5 days to reach you so calculate more or less”, to which she answers «Ummmmmm I guess»! Really?
Oh and my favorite part, «you have to wait for a refund and I’m not sure how much it will be» to which I replied, «let me tell you how much it will be, 4 months worth since I did my part and you don’t know what you’re doing»!!!
DO NOT JOIN!!!

If I could give this place negative stars I would!
I can’t believe this business owner has the audacity to tell the public that «this location has been remodeled and upgraded» Nothing has been remodeled or upgraded, nothing, NOTHING at all.
Fact is, they have downgraded. Never thought I could say that about a place I thought sucked to begin with.
They were closed on Valentines Day. Who closes for Valentines day? Unheard of! Plus, now they are closed Sundays «Until further notice» I’m throwing away my money here!
