Flanigan’s

(DISCLAIMER: my review has been removed multiple times, so let’s see how long it last this time till my Unilocal stalker reports me. *waves Hello*)
This spot is the ONLY one of its kind in this hood. Ale House you’re cute, we all see the effort, but you’re the girl who never makes it home and I’m smashing in the parking lot of well, Flanigans in Hialeah.
Specials are running nearly all the time: UP TO HALF off Happy Hour (Yes, that’s where they get you. No, it was not always this way.) from 4 – 7 at the bar, 9 to close everyday. 11 – 7 on weekends all over, 10 – 12 pitcher specials Monday through Thursday– honestly what else could you ask for? The food time is pretty on point and the quality is more than legit for the price. We’re aware were no longer in Brickell, Toto, but it’s the price you pay for not paying full price. If you have any complains, you need to go back to Edgewater.
Enough of that, let’s get to basics here.
Your fries are curled and wings marinated to perfection daily, I promise you this. If not, send them back! No one cares! Don’t be ashamed! Your wings will always be best served if you bite the bullet and take the sauce on the side, trust me. Actually, I’m feeling generous, ask for some lemon pepper sauce and go to town on your wings. Yea, you’re welcome heathen. Joe’s Steakhouse soup is where it’s at. Throw some Tabasco sauce on it and you’re in business. I don’t need to talk about the ribs. Remember, home of THE legend-​wait for it-​dary! baby back ribs.
Order your burger/​steak a temp. down because the line seemingly cannot grasp the definition of medium. Considering the mass of people that congregate this spot like its the second coming of Christ, it’s understandable. But I get it, you’re the customer, you’re always right. Order your nachos with everything on the side, but the cheese and chili. The kitchens inclined to make them extra cheesy since they’re no longer hiding under a pound of lettuce and pico. These are Flanny life hacks and do your due diligence to remember them. Drinks are measured, so hold the complaints or be a bit nicer about them. Gaaaaawd. Your bartenders deal with more trash than a garbage man after Christmas Day and trust, no matter the tip, it’s not enough.
Patrons, please always remember. You are in the middle of Hialeah and the drinks are half off. You just entered Ratchet City and the scum of the earth reign down upon us like the heat of the night in Miami.
This place? This particular location– It’s your sweet Abuelita that comforts you when Mami didn’t give you what you wanted, but will rear her demon head and beat you with her chancleta in the same breathe even if she’s the height of a leprechaun (always keeping the Irish spirit alive, Joe!)
I can only speak for myself when I say– they deal with a lot. The hours are killer, the people are lethal, but most take it in stride. Nothing warrants a bad day, but sometimes they’re inevitable. Just remember a manager is only a call away and they’re willing to help you out. All things considered these people work hard to have your food hit the table as quickly as possible and your drinks colder than your exes heart. Who’s seemingly across the bartop hooking up with that floozy regular. Don’t worry, you can do so much better.
All in all, you get what you pay for here and not a penny more! So leave your ego at the door because no one should be crawling into this bar at 4 am expecting anything different.

This place has landmark status in Hialeah. The food is alright, definitely better if its 2am on a Friday night and you’ve had a few. I love coming here with my guy or with friends. If you’re from Hialeah you’re almost guaranteed to run into someone you know.
I have to be honest this place is really a 3.5 when it comes to food and drinks. I gave them five stars because of ONE server/​waitress.

THALIA! This girl is so sweet and attentive. Her positive attitude just draws you in! And it’s genuine! There’s no fake «nicey-​nicey» BS to get tip money. I have been at this location when it’s jam packed and the bar is slammed and this girl keeps her cool, acknowledges orders, and she works hard. She’s more than just competent she’s like the Van Damme of servers, like the alpha and omega of servers, like if you’ve always been searching for that one true server that just understands you!!! — yeah that’s her.
Another reviewer mentioned her, she wears these super cute cateye glasses that are clear.
If they ever get rid of her or she leaves (I might die), I will come back and drop two stars. She truly is that great and is an asset to their establishment.

Flanigan’s is a nice place to relax, grab a drink and a burger. This particular spot is apparently one of the nicest locations in South Florida! I’ve heard good things about the location for a while and I have never been disappointed. Service is exceptional and the food is good. The only suggestion I would make is for better bathroom maintenance. However, I’m sure it’s hard to keep up with bar guests constantly making a mess, so it’s forgiven. Bottom line though, this place rocks!

My favorite place ever. Not only are the wings, ribs, and fries, the most delicious thing in the menu, they are open til 5am! So when you’re hanging out with friends, talking, drinking, laughing, and suddenly hunger strikes… THIS is the place to head out to. Everywhere else is closed at 3am but Flanigan’s? Good ol’ friendly neighborhood Flanigan’s is where everybody knows your name. And they’re always glad you came. I am too. I’m always glad to come to Flanigan’s. You can never go wrong with the food here. And they are always open! From the rocking rib rolls to the $ 2 AmberBocks on draft during late night happy hour, this place is always the key to more success.

Worst Flanigans in Miami. Horrible service, rude people and the food takes forever. Not to mention it’s always crowded especially the bar.

I was so over Flannigans after many times at the one on Doral. But this location has excellent service and food. I ordered Sex with an Alligator shot, it was incredible. Ribs were delicious and steak house soup was out of this world. I will definitely return.

I gotta be super honest and let you know that this particular Flanigans is all about the people. If it wasn’t for the people there, I would give it three stars.
But, their food is great. Those curly fries are the shhhhhhiiiiiiiiittttt. And the Texas burger is amazeballs. But their beer selection is so subpar. Basic-​ass beers. Miller, Bud, Blue Moon… BORING.
If you want good bar food, hit it up. Also if you’ve already been out drinking and need a little boost-​up with that Hialeah flair, then go. Don’t go if you’re looking for new beer.

I love food been coming here for years. Manager is super interactive Darren probably my favorite manger there. Love the ribs.

The service at the location it terrible. Started out with the hostess who was busy chit-​chatting. Waited over 39 minutes to be seated when there was over 5 tables empty. 3 tables had food on them which no one bothered to clean up. A few others who were waiting were pretty bothered as well.
So we finally get a table and we order our food and that took another 30 minutes of waiting.
I will not be returning to this location due to the lack of service and customer curtesy.

Where do you wanna eat? Flannys, DUH! I have been going to this location for over 10 years. This is the place to go to and hang out with friends after work, during work, on the weekends, after the party, or before the party. There is really no bad time for Flannys, unless you go during a game and only came to eat because you were starving. Been there, done that. A big NO-​NO! The staff is always very attentive and I am a huge fan of their menu, so that’s what keeps me going back. I’m one of those customers that will ask with the Texas burger with no bread and no onions. They look at me weird for a minute, but they always bring me what I ordered. This place ain’t going nowhere and neither are we! Damn. I want some Flannys.

Is this place fancy? Hell no. Is it consistent? Hell yes. Flanigan’s seems to have an endless happy hour, and something «free» with every meal. I have never been disappointed with my food. I recommend the firecracker shrimp, ribs, burgers, and ANY dessert. Despite its grungy look, it’s actually incredibly clean. They have wonderful lunch specials, and the management is great. I recommend 100%(especially over ale house!)
My only gripe is sometimes the servers can be rude, but in their defense they deal with jerks ²⁄₃ of the time. Alain and a few of the bartenders are great however.
The Hialeah location beats all the other locations as well.

It was four o’clock in the morning and this was on the way. The only place you could order was at the bar. I found an empty table by the bar and I took it. This place was still thumping at this time.
I thought to myself, «I’m never going to get my food.» My friend walked-​up to the bar and placed our order. I went outside to smoke a cigarette thinking it would take a while. Once I come back inside the food was already there.
I don’t think there is a need to elaborate on how good the food is here. I had short slab of ribs, curley fries and coleslaw. As expected, it was absolutely delicious. They have always been known for their ribs.
Now, with that many people how the employees managed to keep the place running seamlessly, however, is something worth mentioning. I was expecting to be in there for a long time and, that was not the case. We were out of there as quickly as we went in. I honestly wasn’t expecting that with the place being so packed. From glancing from afar all the employees had their thing going on without a glitch. Every customer that was there was being attended to.
Yeah man, five stars all the way.
