Friends Moving

Stay away from this moving company! I scheduled a move a month in advance for Sat morning at 9 am. I called the Thursday before to confirm and they told me I was scheduled for 2 pm. By 3:30 pm, they still were not there. I called several times and left messages and didn’t hear from them until 5:30pm. At this point, I had hired a new company for the next day. Do not give them your business!

Stay away from this company. Total scammer. They didn’t show up.

Friends moving experience:
I called friends moving and asked to schedule a move of a 2 bedroom townhouse to a 3 bedroom about a week in advance for 9 am. All seemed well. The night before my scheduled move I get a call at 10 pm confirming my move for 9 am the next day. The message they left said if I didn’t call back a truck would still be at my residence at 9 am the next morning.
The next morning comes around and there are no movers at 9 am. I give them a call figuring they can’t find my address. I was then told since I didn’t call back after 10pm the night before (my wife and I have a 2 week old new born) that they figured I didn’t want the move to happen. They told me the next available time was from 4 – 5 pm. After 5 pm I am told it will be between 6−630pm when they would be here. That did not work well since we have a new born baby.
On their web site they state their goal is to «Make your South Florida moving relocation experience as simple as possible.» they failed to meet their goal. They also state «moving is one of the most nerve racking experiences.» They made this move of 2 miles more nerve racking than moving from California to South Florida. I am a very dissatisfied customer and would not recommend them.
Instead of them I used Right Way moving and could not have been more satisfied.
