Im hispanic, im born in Miami from parents born in Cuba, but they are nowhere as rude as the employees are at this Rey Pizza. I called in to place an order for pickup, and first of all i know we are in Hialeah, but we are in America and English is the first language. They answered the phone in a tough hard attitude as if everyone is in a hurry, and my first question was, «what would be best for me to buy…» and before i even got to finish my question, the lady interrupted me and responded, that i should buy a family size pizza. On top of that once i ordered she said 15 – 20 minutes and did not even tell me the cost. I showed up at the location not even 10 minutes later and my pizza was sitting there as if it had been done for a while already. Then there was a customer paying for what he had eaten there, and between him and the three employees standing behind the counter, were chit chatting up a storm. Customer service and peoples attitudes around this area has gone down down down as the years have come through. I gave 3 stars because in the end, my family is their«Chorizo» provider and the food ultimately is good most times.

Only good for late night place to eat. Other than that the service is bad and really slow. Tables are always dirty and take forever to get cleaned up. They won’t refill your drink or cut your pizza unless you ask them too. And if you wanna leave you have to find your waitress to get the check. Other than that the food is decent and cheap.

The worst place to eat. My steak sandwich was over seasoned and over cooked, staff members looked like their didn’t want to work. The manger look like he was sight seeing. I won’t go there anymore. I don’t recommend it!!!

I use to love this place but over the years the quality has taken a major decline. The last few times I have been here I have left with nothing but disappointment. The pizza has been undercooked. They put way too much sauce on the pizza. The sauce taste like tomato sauce out of a can. Even when I ask for my pizza crispy it still comes out soggy. I definetly won’t be going back.

I remember eating here as a kid when the food was decent. Now it feels and smells like a public school cafeteria serving pizza from the freezer/tv dinner aisle.

If you are looking for Cuban Pizza search no more. I’ll let you know how I order as I been ordering the same for more than 15 years. You got to start with the Garlic bread, something about how that delicious cheese and garlic is awesome. When you finish the garlic bread don’t throw away the basket, the scraps from garlic and cheese is a great topping for the pizza and or spaghetti. I usually from here I always go with someone else so we order a pasta and personal pizza and split that. Top everything off with a flan and cuban coffee and i’m sure you’ll go home happy! P. S. Great job on the remodeling!

This is place isn’t horrible. It is a Hialeah 24hour pizza joint, cant compare this to a 5 star dining establishment, lets face it, this is a local chain cuban pizzeria and the pizza is good. Service is usually crappy during late nights, but on my last visit, about 3 weeks ago the girl was super sweet and brought the pizza pie right out. I cant say Its the best ever but its not horrible. I enjoyed it.

As I write this review I need to give you a bit of back story to this Rey’s Pizza. I grew up a few blocks away from here and I used to walk here as a kid with all of my friends. Now, I am not sure if the quality of the ingredients has deteriorated that much or I just didn’t know any better when I was young, but this pizza now tastes like cardboard. I remember the crust being a nice fluffy, deep, pan style, and now it is a rubbery, chewy type of dough. They skimp on the sauce and the cheese seems to be artificial. I solely provide two stars because they do open 24 hours and one star for having done a good job with the remodeling of the restaurant to quadruple its capacity and make it super nice and clean inside.
