KFC

This particulary kfc gives you mini chickens ordered 2 pieces meal spent about 20 dollars and the chicken wer’ so small!!! Ughggghh

I don’t understand how this place was able to obtain a 4 star rating when there was a 7 min wait for potato wedges, the popcorn chicken was more like popcorn breadcrum crisps and also the Pepsi taste like pure sugary syrup.

KFC is the best in this area including Miami, chicken is well cooked, good portion for the price, have pudding, soup, in others no, very good attentive to customers, the best.

Best KFC ever! There food is always fresh and they have homemade Cuban flan on the menu!

The main reason I came here yesterday was to find-​out what year this KFC opened in my neighborhood. I asked and to no avail, none of the employees knew. So, since I was there, I ended-​up eating something anyways. For some reason, this is the only KFC within distance in Hialeah from my home. The other two that have opened in recent years are west of the Palmetto Expressway. I don’t know why really. Cubans love KFC and this particular one even added Flan, Black Beans & Rice, to their menu. By the way, this chicken tastes great with Black Beans & Rice.
So, why was I trying to find-​out the year? I’m part of a Hialeah Group on Facebook where on several attempts people have been trying to find-​out. Low and behold, I remember just now that one of my sisters is married to an American that grew-​up around here in Hialeah. So, mother calls my sister.
The conversation went as follows (names have been changed to protect the guilty:)
Mother: ¿Mamushka, tú sabes cuándo habrieron «El Kengtokee» de la 49?
(Do you know when they opened the Kentucky on 49^th?)
Mamushka: Dejame averiguar. Pero yo sé que lleva ahí mucho tiempo. ¿Te recuerdas la pena que nos hiciste pasar con las amistades de nosotros, casi acabados de llegar de Cuba? ¿Cuando digistes que el pollo era de «Fokeen» Good. Se que lleva tiempo.
(Let me find out. Remember the embarrassment you caused us when we had almost just gotten here from Cuba in front of our friends? When you said the chicken was from «Fokeen» Good. I know it’s been there a while.
Get it? It’s finger licking good/​fokeen good? She still can’t speak a lick of English but, she learned quickly what «Fokeen» implies. We LOLed. My sister was able to find-​out through a website I will be using from here on out. «Mark’s» help wasn’t needed after all.
For adding Flan, Black Beans and Rice and the funny memories, I went ahead and issued you the fourth star. Other than that, it’s your expected KFC. This KFC has been remodeled several times but, the date it was built here is 1962. We obviously love the «Fokeen Kengtokee» in Hialeah and keep them in business.

This KFC has a rude staff and more then several times they messed up my order. The only reason I keep going back is due that it’s 2 minutes away fro my home and I enjoy the dark meat specials

Now, I don’t regularly eat at KFC, and I’m just guessing on the location, but I was driving through Miami a few years back & saw an old style KFC building.
I hadn’t seen one with this design in YEARS! Luckly I had a camera & snapped this pic.
Old Style KFC is cool. I miss it.
