Kongos Pizza

Kongos pizza is my favorite Cuban pizzeria. Cuban pizza is definitely not for everyone, I think it’s an acquired taste actually. Very different than your average pizza. It’s a lot of bread so if that’s not something your into then this might not be the pizza for you but if your willing to try, then kongos is your best bet. Growing up in HIALEAH there’s a bunch of these Cuban pizzerias now but back then all we had was Good ol’ Reys Pizza or Polo Norte. I’m so glad Kongos grew and has more locations now. They really are the best of the three. Their pizza taste so much better I think they use better ingredients. The cheese soup is so good I crave it all the time. The Neapolitan is the typical Cuban ham and cheese and it does not disappoint. The chorizo is also very good not to greasy. I always ask for my pizza «bien echo» meaning well done because I like it on the crispier side. The norm is more soft and chewy. That’s just a personal preference but if you’ve never had Cuban you might want to ask for it crispy. Because it might be too «doughy».
The spaghetti is also very good and the portion is huge. It’s a must with their garlic rolls. Prices are decent and my only complaint is I wish they delivered!!!

Best Cuban pizza around !! Nice thick crust and very cheesy :) There are a lot of «Cuban Pizza» restaurants in Miami but none like these.

Este lugar sabía hacer una pasta de pollo deliciosa, pero la última vez que fui, hace un par de meses me vendieron una pasta con una pasta de pollo muy mala, yo no se de donde sacaron ese pollo, que lastima que la calidad bajo tanto.
This place used to make a delicious chicken pasta, but last time I went, a couple of months ago they gave me a very bad chicken pasta, I don’t know where they got that chicken from, it’s a shame that the quality suffered so much.

If you are looking for good cuban pizza this is the place to go! They have good customer service and the best cuban pizzas in town. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to other cuban pizza places.
