Maybe this place has low prices and good food, but costumer services and being honest is part of the game too. My wine called to place a order roast pork for our NYE Party. A deposit of $ 50 was paid over the phone with a remaining balance of $ 240 and $ 20 to be refunded when the tray was returned. The Roasted Pork wasn’t as good as expected, it was super cold when I picked up, like it was standing for several hours by the scheduled«pick up time». The following week I retuned the tray and was charged $ 10 for not have clean it, neither me or my wife were aware of this fee. And today, I discovered a duplicated charge on my Credit Card, as you can see in the screenshot attached they charged $ 240 in 2 different days. When I called, the manager was not available to talk to me and they wanted me to go there in person to fix the issue… Are you kidding me?! I have too much thinks to do to be driving one hour for their mistake. Bye bye Las Viñas BBQ.

I’ve only come here for take out(which is primarily what it looks like even though they have tables). The parking lot has only maybe 5 – 7 spaces so takeout is advisable anyways. Most of the food I think is cafetaria style so it’s already prepared(although they’re constantly refilling). I won’t talk about the pan con lechon I mistakenly ordered last time, but this time I got 4lbs of delicious tender pork shoulder. Everyone spoke Spanish(last time I messed up and said una pound lechon and they thought I meant pan con lechon) so I just said cuatro libra lechon and pointed at the pork shoulder. For $ 6.50 a pound, it was tender, the skin crunchy albeit hard, and very greasy. The grease is too expected, even if it pools out when reheating and acts as rocket fuel in the microwave. I would definitely come back for more.

There are issues with this restaurant that cannot go unsaid, especially, to anyone that has never been here. Firstly, I had no idea this restaurant was here and I live just a few minutes away. It is nestled between businesses that obscure it at first glance. I passed it on the first attempt and had to turn around using the neighborhood behind it to get back. If you are going north on east fourth avenue, the minute you get to 37th street, start slowing down even if impatient drivers behind you start honking at you and nicely give you the finger when you look in your rear view mirror. It is noticeably behind each of the businesses on either side. It looks like an extension of one of the other businesses. Secondly, parking is very limited. I counted five spots total. Could have been seven, however, hard to tell since two of the large gas consuming vehicles here on this day were using the Hialeah Parking System aka«Aquí mismo que quepo.» This would explain why they were so empty on what should be a very busy restaurant during lunch. Their main business, obviously, is catering your event and food by the pound. Most customers while I was here walked-in, probably from surrounding businesses, ordered their Completa and left. I don’t know, except for my truck and the other customer dining-in, who the rest of these vehicles belonged to. It was just that table and mine opting to dine-in on this day. Thirdly and not so important stuff; the restaurant is dark on the inside. They do have outdoor seating using old concrete patio tables, which, were surprisingly clean. The inside, too, was immaculate. The waitresses were attentive, nice, knowledgeable of the entire menu and blah, blah blah. I was strictly here to try their pork so, unless obvious, I really overlooked it. I say it all the time and will continue to do so until everyone who reads my Unilocal Reviews gets it, «If you want to review a Cuban Restaurant, try their pork.» A «Churrasco» although Ethnic sounding, is not Cuban. You know you’re in for a treat when you’re Partially Deaf and can hear the Butcher going crazy with the Butcher Knife with the already dead pig in the kitchen from the parking lot. This sound also resonated throughout the entire small restaurant during my dining experience, non-stop. What did this tell me? The poor dead pig is being delivered fresh to the restaurant upon, what is to be its, very un-Kosher and delicious future for Human consumption. Then, you taste the already cooked poor dead sucker. Here’s a free tip from me to you: You know it’s fresh when the meat still has a very minimal earthy taste to it. Not like Bambi, but, it should be earthy enough. If you are eating Cuban pig that has been salted to its second death, you are more likely than not, not eating fresh pig. Or, the cook needs to go back to Culinary School in somebody’s backyard in Hialeah. No need for that much salt, which is the norm with other restaurants Cuban and/or other, in your food. Another possibility, they may just be trying to preserve the meat longer in their freezers. Take the tip, I am a Cuban that has had one too many pigs cooked in his backyard. If there’s one thing I do know, it’s Cuban pig. Now briefly to what I had. Here’s the kicker, you don’t get bread before your meal. No, they bring you a small portion of their Chicharrones. I ended-up ordering half a pound before leaving. Any foods I list here are home-made. Appetizer: I had their Fried Yuca. Only problem with this, they have no sauce to dip it in. Main Course: I had their Roast Pork topped with onions, side of Moros and Platanos Maduros. The Moros were not the prettiest, however, very tasty. Picture the Moros you eat at someone’s home that makes it right but, hasn’t managed to make it look like a popular restaurant that uses black dye and perfectly granular. You’ll see what I mean when you taste it. This is exactly how mine ends-up when I make it myself. Here’s a little more about the pork, because I asked; they do not add any barbecue sauce before hand. Upon request, they will bring you a bottle of store bought sauce. Honestly, it wasn’t necessary. The pork was seasoned just right. Dessert: Flan de Leche. It’s HUGE! Make sure to leave room for this deliciousness of a creation. That’s all folks. Obviously, I will be back and highly recommend them as your choice. Especially, if you plan on having someone cater your next Cubanaso Event. They do deliver your order for a price, I was told $ 20-$ 30 depending on your location. Call them directly for an exact quote. ** Gracias por no usar una innecesaria cantidad de sal en sus comidas. El sabor de la comida casera es obvia y notable. El único problema que tengo con su restaurante, es la falta de espacios para estacionamiento de los vehículos de clientes. Aparte de eso, quedé muy contento con sus comidas.

Excellent restaurant that sells food by the pound. If you’re having a party make sure to stop by and pick up some Cuban classics like Yucca and Moro! They also have tables to sit down and eat and I’m positive the food is just as good :)

I live in Las Vegas and was in Miami for a few days, so I definitely wanted to eat cuban food… Las Vinas was recommended by a friend. I gotta tell you, this was the MOSTAMAZING and AUTHENTIC cuban food I have ever had!!! Even the natural drinks were amazing. My favorite was the pineapple… YUMMY! Definitely my favorite cuban restaurant EVER!

Great place for take out cuban food, go early it gets full with a huge line, during the holidays you can order a whole pig if you have a big family, food is great, the best chicharrones, great barrigada and an incredible tamal en cazuela.

i have not really stayed in to eat. i have had their catering and food has been ok. even thou i do have to say they have been generous with their portions… our guest have been able to serve themselves twice. this is cuban food — their moro is good and so is their puerto asado(roasted pork) food is ok…
