I love this little bakery. It is well-organized(take a number), unlike some other Cuban bakeries, and everything is fresh. I usually get my goodies to go, but they do have tables & chairs if you want to eat there. They have all of the typical Cuban pastelitos. My favorite is the cheese one. Theirs is crunchy because of the sugar encrusting the pastry(yum!). If you want croquettas, they have the typical ones, but they also have unique ones(corn & cheese). If you want to take a tray home, they will make them for you while you wait. Aside from all the Cuban goodies, they also have freshly made donuts with colorful glazes, cake pops & other more American type desserts. I tried these little blueberry mini strudel type thingies the other day & they were delicious. The café con leche is good there too. I have to remember to try one of their sandwiches next time. They look pretty good.

Nice, small bakery located in a shopping plaza on 8th street and 62nd ave. Walking in, it looks better than what I imagined. The waitress was very nice. I didn’t know what exactly I wanted, so she told me to take my time and call her name when I was ready. I bought pastelitos de carne, empanadas de carne, and pastelitos de guayaba. They were pretty good. They were all soft and warm. I paid $ 7 for 7 pastelitos, pretty inexpensive. I would come again if I’m in the area.

I’ve come here 3 times and it got worse and worse. This last time, it was overly priced. The waitress that helped me was rude and only smiled when it was almost time to pay. She had no patience whatsoever. And the coffee is so hot that you cannot drink it!
