Madelyn’s Cake

Just had our gender reveal yesterday. The cake design, we had found on Pinterest. I showed Madelyn and on the day of pick up, our cake came out even better than what I showed her! The cake was a hit! We Ordered a vanilla rum flavor with fondant. I’ve had fondant from other bakeries and was a little hesitant because they tasted like rubber or inedible. But Madelyn’s Cake was The opposite. Soft, and didn’t have that bitter taste. The cake reminds me of a wedding cake. Not a single guest out of our 35 had any thing but good reviews and asked for seconds lol! We will be coming back to do our baby shower cake!

I picked up my goddaughters little mermaid cake on Saturday that Madelyn made from a picture I brought her, the cake was beautiful and the taste was phenomenal … I couldn’t be happier with the results I’ve been coming to buy cakes from Madelyn’sCake for over 7 years And all I can say is I’ve never been disappointed

Beautiful and delicious… I ordered a buttercream cake for my roaring 20s theme party and her creation exceeded my expectations. The cake was beautifully decorated… some of the details of the cake like the flower were made of fondant… the cake (run cake) was very moist… even 3 days after the party and being in the fridge the cake still tasted as fresh as the first day. It was also very affordable compared to other prices out there ($ 75 in this case)…I’ll be ordering my cakes from here from now on.

I recently ordered a last minute (less than 24 hours before the party) cake from Madelyn for my daughter’s 7^th birthday — Wonder Woman themed. The cake needed to feed 75 people and I requested a custom Wonder Woman cake. Madelyn graciously agreed to make the cake — AND IT WAS FABULOUS. I posted a picture of the cake.
The actual cake was a vanilla/​chocolate marble cake. It was moist and all of my guests asked for her contact information — great sign.
She is a fantastic pastry chef with extremely reasonable prices. She saved our daughter’s birthday.
P. S. I previously ordered a Mickey Mouse Cake from Madelyn for my son’s birthday (Rum Cake) and it was amazing.

I needed a cake for about 15 people with a drawing of a camera on it. My coworker recommended Madelyn’s and said her prices were reasonable. When I placed the order I wasn’t expecting much because of my budget. The cake surpassed my expectations. The camera on the cake was exactly like in the picture I gave her. Needless to say, my husband loved his birthday cake. Everyone commented on how good it tasted (vanilla rum). This will definitely be my go-​to place to get cakes from.

Decent cakes — can sometimes be a little bland for my taste. I actually think they tasted better about 2 years back! She does do nice designs though. The main reason I come is for the cake price and the fact that she’s close to my stomping grounds — she’s much more economical compared to other locations! I used her recently for my daughter’s bday, and the cake was actually better than usual. Oh, and a major negative — she only accepts cash. Boo.

Try the vanilla rum cake! I work at the Starbucks down the road and Madelyn comes almost every morning. That’s how I got to know about her bakery.
I swung by one afternoon and tried a slice of her cake it was absolutely to die for! I don’t even LIKE cake!
For what your getting, I think she charges cheap. A true gem within the vast amounts of cuban bakeries, a non-​disappointment!

If you’re into unique, beautiful and one of a kind cakes that taste even better than they look, you need look no further. I’ve been going to Madelyn’s Cakes for more than 6 years, even before she had her own shop and worked out of her parent’s kitchen and each and every cake has been divine.
Her shop is located in the heart of Hialeah, there’s no bells and whistles but what you do get is a cake that the Cake Boss would be impressed with.
Her flavors include a guava and cream cheese filling that all my guests now expect in each of my cakes, but she also has dulce de leche, strawberry cream, chocolate, vanilla rum, and others which are all just as good.
I recently ordered cupcakes for a company function and everyone in my office was ranting and raving about the cupcakes. Her prices can’t be beat and again, her cakes are simply amazing.
If you’re expecting a very glitzy shop, you wont be impressed but trust me you will be with the cakes.
Also, Madelyn is wonderful, but she can be a little shy and isn’t overly friendly that’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars. That and that she doesn’t deliver, but don’t worry about that and order her cakes, cupcakes and anything else you can imagine — it will be worth the drive and you’ll become a fine like me!
