Too small this place, and the food is the first shit, who can explain that food is serving first than pizza, I can’t believe, I had been waiting for 45 minutes for two pizzas, napolitan pizza, simple that’s it, I eat because I’m very hungry but, not recommended for me, thanks everybody

I took the chance with them and ordered again after I said I would never and I am glad to say that the food was great, the delivery was fast. No complaints at all. I’m glad to see that they have improved.

I’ve ordered delivery from here 3 times, the first time they forgot one of my side orders which they charged me for. The second time, the moron who took my order wrote the wrong address and the delivery guy couldn’t find my house. Oh yea and he didn’t speak English either. The third time they got the entire order wrong. This place sucks, the staff is incompetent and not worth your money. How do you not know how to take a damn order properly?

Love the bread they use. It’s like a French/Cuban style type of bread. It’s crunchy and fresh Had a papaya shake made with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. Love this place.

Great pizza but they have too much tomato sauce on it. Would you please decrease the amount?

I I’m a regular at this place. and I believe I have tried at least 90% of the menu… Everything here is XL, HUGE portions… my favorites are the Vaca Frita, the grilled chicken, churrasco, Ropa Vieja(done as a special only not served daily), filetillo de pollo, cextra cheese cuban pizza… Not good here in my opinion, is the pasta– to overly done, the sauce tastes like canned sauce straight horrible taste. Some tips: if you order salad, please make sure you specify not to put the dressing on the salad if not the will trow a great amount of ranch on top, always! If you’re not home and order from work, specify that you want utensils, if not, they will not be included. Some yummy treats: The ice cream and shakes are amazing. The ice cream is very creamy, my top favorite are the mamey and the mantecado.

My family and I love Polo Norte. Although we’ve only done dine in only once, we order from here at least once a week. Everything we’ve had there has been delicious. Prior to the Miami Lakes one opening, we used to order from the one on west 29th street and it was good, so when they opened one near our home, we were thrilled. My boys, husband and I all love the pizza. The vaca frita and pollo a la milanesa are ah-mazing, as is the bistec uruguayo. The place is tiny, hence why we order for delivery but the food is sooo good, you’ll immediately become a PN addict! Give them a try. No regrets!

Having lived in Miami for most of my life, I have always eaten pizza from the regular big-named franchise favorites: Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Little Ceasar’s, Papa John’s, Godfather’s(old school), even showed some love to the local mom & pop ones such as Cazzola’s, Frankie’s pizza, DiPiazza’s, Domenico’s, Riverboat Playhouse(that’s an old school one from Kendall), and heck even Chuck E. Cheese’s has a decent thin crust. But I’ve always passed on the few«Polo Norte» establishments I’ve seen for a few reasons: 1. There’s always a huge line to get in. 2. It’s labeled as Cuban Pizza, and I always thought, «What the heck is a Cuban pizza, and what’s on it?» But today there was no line(it was 5:30pm), just a few locals having a cafesito at the stool counter, and there was none but 5 or 6 tables, at this Miami Lakes shopping center location. Still not in the mood for a pizza, I ordered a frita(sorry, but Sergio’s or Lila’s from back in the day has them beat), my wife ordered a personal pizza, and my kids ordered other Cuban food. But when my wife’s pizza arrived… I have to admit, it looked delicious. It was a Hawaiian pizza(ham, cheese, pineapple). She offered me a slice and once I bit into it, I knew this was different… yet familiar. It tasted amazing. The bread/crust was like no other. You see, the geniuses at Polo Norte hand make their crusts using the same ingredients as when making Cuban bread. Yes, the pizza is made freshly baked Cuban bread! The same bread many of you reading right now have had for breakfast with your café con leche, or in a pan con bistec, or have nibbled at on your way home from the bakery… is now on a scrumptious pizza! I confirmed this with my waitress, & it’s true. Now I realize why the long lines, despite the limited dining space. They offer take out and deliver until midnight. You’re welcome. P. S. They also serve ice-cream, shakes, specialties of the day like La Carreta & Latin America and, coladas.

Best pizza ever!!! I am so glad that it has taken me this long to find this place from the corner of my house. I would have been extremely over weight by now! Must get the veggie and meat lover all in one! Service was ok. But it’s definitely and in and out or take out kind of spot.

It’s obvious at all good things must come to an end. With you to do my favorite restaurants to come to at the end a working day when I wanted good old fashioned Cuban food. Sadly, not anymore. The palomilla steak was as dry as a cardboard. The rice crispy. Black beans, would you be a guaranteed perfection had no flavor whatsoever. Furthermore, my order was wrong and I had to go back to get the right order.

When we got there the place was at full capacity, however the people that work there are extremely efficient. Multi-tasking cubanitas… very friendly and attentive. Ordered the«Mixta family» pizza, took about 25 minutes to arrive. The pizza is a wonderful surprise, unique flavor and a lot of food! I was able to scarf down a whole slice and a half… I’m looking forward to eating left over after I get on the treadmill! Only negatives are the limited space, a party of more than 4 will have a hard time eating together. Also make sure to bring a sweater they live up to their names the air ducts blow down directly on you. I will be going back soon for other dishes.

Awesome with friendly bilingual customer service, come with 4 at most for the greatly cooked food! Whether it be from the sandwiches, Cuban styled pizzas, to even further it’s quality to each grain of rice, bean, and choice of meat on your desired plate. What I just described was the entrée only. The desserts are perfection to add on after your meal! No regrets and you won’t forget.

This is THE place for Cuban-style pizza, forget cheap old Rey’s Pizza. You may select your dining options from a variety of typical Cuban dishes but bare in mid, that this joint gained its reputation due to their fruit-flavored ice creams and Cuban-style pizza. Sadly, this location in particular, lacks the appropriate space for its local Cuban pizza aficionados as myself.

The pizza was really good, can’t make comments about the rest of their menu. They are FAST. I ordered my personal pizza to go and it was ready in less than 5 minutes! Speedy Gonzalez must work in their kitchen.

SOLID Cuban pizza. Yes, it’s a franchise and I’m not here to vouch for its authenticity. No, I do not know if Fidel Castro would enjoy it. I’m not sure Batista’s mother would make it the same. All I know is that it’s a good, fresh pizza you don’t find anywhere else of its kind. It’s thick, chewy, and has the right amount of… crunch. I’d definitely accompany it with a smoothie.

I’m not a fan of anything Cuban that is a franchise. Especially this Cuban pizza-business that’s been in Miami for far too long. It’s just a typical Cuban joint to add to the plethora of Cuban joints in Miami.

I’m reviewing just the pizza, Cuban Pizza. For those who don’t know it’s basically a Chicago Styled stuffed personal pizza with Cuban seasoning on the ingredients. As far as Cuban pizza is concerned. Oh my, it’s good. The rest of the menu I couldn’t tell you about. If I want Cuban food I go to a Cuban hole in the wall, but if you like Cuban Pizza this place is it for me. Great traditional style Cuban ice cream too. Both their PSN&WESTHIALEAH locations are consistent and great. It’s the one thing I look forward to aside from my parents when in the area.

«Typical» Cuban food that you’ll find on any other menu in Miami, along with a selection of pizza(Cuban style, so don’t get your hopes up). As far as the food is concerned, the only saving grace is the excellent shakes they serve, made with fresh tropical fruit and ice cream. The sandwiches, entrees and everything else were pretty standard, ie, nothing to write home about. The service is another thing altogether. Aside from getting the order wrong, we were served rotten watermelon juice and had a hard time flagging down our waitress because she was having her eyebrows plucked by her coworker and wasn’t paying attention. I’m serious, you can’t make this stuff up. Although the drink was replaced and the order corrected, it was hard to get the image of plucked eyebrows out of my head.
