I called to order for delivery, the girl who answered(don’t remember her name) was absolutely great! She was personable and able to orient me to what to eat. It was pleasurable speaking to her since she wasn’t rushing me to order, but rather even making small talk. I ordered for delivery and they came before the expected time which was also a plus. The sushi and rice was delicious(ordered dragon roll, Angel roll and Hialeah special fried rice). Details like spicy mayo and eel sauce(which I forgot to ask for but were included) made it 5 stars for me. My new close by sushi place!

Went for the first time today because I did not want to drive to Doral. Worst mistake ever. Sushi was sloppy and not fresh my fried rice was literally fried… Would not recommend and not going again I rather make the drive to doral and avoid the stomach ache!

Omg wow… yeah I want to issue them just three stars. When restaurants become a chain, after a while, all they deserve is three stars on Unilocal. There are, however, exceptions to that«my made-up» rule. So not long after the commencement of this new year, 2016, I get a menu in the mail for this restaurant. Mother has been made aware not to throw these away when we get them. As well as any advertisements for any business. She was already my guest once at a Unilocal Event a couple of years ago now. She knows I do «something» with food. She still doesn’t get it. All she can decipher is, I do «something» with food. For a couple of years now, whenever we get a menu in the mail, «mira Cid. para ‘eso’ que tu haces con las comiditas.» «DAMNIT,» I said to myself after going through the menu, «it’s seafood.» I HATE seafood. I will eat it if it is fresh from a reputable place. I’m not allergic or anything. If not fresh, I have said many a time on other Unilocal, exactly what it smells and tastes like. No need to remind everyone, really. Now, the fact that I’m a flaming homosexual and know exactly what a dirty«one»(not fishes) smells and tastes like, deserves its own Unilocal. In its own right. Let’s just say, for now, the 90s proved to be very experimental for me thanks to Madonna’s Blonde Ambition Tour. I’ve been shaking a little more than the usual for the last couple of days. YEARS ago a Neurologist recommended that I incorporate seafood into my diet, and, it works. Seafood disguises the shakes to a minimum. So, here I am today. Easy to find, yet, easy to miss. This restaurant is in the two story shopping center right after Taco Bell. It’s a couple of doors down from Dunkin Doughnuts. I passed it the first time. The conglomeration of vehicles parked in the parking lot, makes this business easy to miss at first glance. Not a problem. We, the locals, know about the following street north. We use that street to avoid 49th street. Low and behold, this shopping center has an entrance on both streets. Plenty of parking in the back and plenty of parking in the front. Enough spaces for all the businesses sharing this shopping center. The first thing I did, was ask where the restroom was so I can go take my Selfie. Even in mid-afternoon, it’s a dark restaurant. A very hip modern place. So not expected in Hialeah. Had it not been for the Chongas walking by periodically and a clear view of Gus Machado Ford, I would have forgotten where I was. The built into the wall futuristic TV in the very clean restroom is memorable. The first thing I noticed, nobody was using the very cleanly kept tables outside. While waiting for my Sapporo Beer, a couple came and sat directly across from me. We were having LOVELY weather in South Florida this afternoon. I ordered: * Lunch Chicken Fried Rice — I already know people that have been here and each raves about their Fried Rice. The need for me to unfriend someone else on Facebook will not be necessary. This did not disappoint. * Lunch Special #2 — This consists of your choice of any two Sushi on the lunch list. The choices were left entirely up to the very pleasant and informative young man serving outside. And I quote myself, «si se lo que es… no me lo como.» This, too, did not disappoint. Still, I have no idea what the Hell I had. * Pork Shumai — Whatever the Hell this is, comes in a fried or steamed option. I went with fried, just like the diner. The dipping sauce is DELICIOUS! Whatever it is. It was«alright.» Not my favorite. There are a few blah blah blahs I’d like to point-out before I go: * SHOUT-OUT to the Hostess working this shift. Any time she opened the door, she looked my way and asked if everything was okay. * The lunch prices and the dinner prices don’t differ all that much. * Looks like an expensive restaurant and, it is not. At all. * They are very generous with the portions. * I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, as myself, that is not a big fan of seafood. At no point during my meal did I have a flashback from the Rolls of the 90s, busted-out with glow sticks, and started Raving to the sounds of Hialeah Traffic. * El idioma aquí es inglés. Maybe, maybe not, te entienden en español. Lo tuve un poco confundido cuando hablé Hialeah.

I am in love with the vibe and food that comes out of Sushi Sake. The Miami Heat Roll is probably the best roll to order if you like a more ‘cooked’ sushi and are also a fan of salmon. It’s tasty and unique to the restaurant. It’s a great spot for lunch since they lower the price on their sushi rolls. Other great options to try are their fried rice, the Tiger Roll, and the Angel Roll. As for dessert, the Thai Donuts are my favorite to order. It’s a great portion to split with another person or to indulge all by yourself. They also have a great selection of sake on hand(hello? the name of the place?). The Hialeah location is finally open and I am thankful I no longer have to deal with Doral traffic or trek it to Pembroke Pines(west of I-75, yikes!) Overall, I enjoy dining at Sushi Sake and am already looking forward to my next outing.

Honestly, the only good thing about Sushi Sake was the waitress we had. The food lacked detail and they barely put any fish in our sushi. The food is over priced for the quality of sushi rolls we received. I will not be returning. :-/

I went on Tuesday Lunch with my Coworkers, was greeted very friendly and was sat down quick. We had a party Of 8& a young male server attended us, he was AMAZING not only that the owner Bobby was there and treated us to a new appetizer and new desert called fire balls which was delicious! Definitely will be going back and going with my family.

Found a long gross HAIR in my take out food! Called the manager about it and he simply didn’t care not only did I throw away my dish but he didn’t even offer to compensate or replace it! I will not be going there again! They obviously need to wear hairnets or do something about SANITATION! Yukkkkkkk

I was excited to try Sushi Sake ever since I heard it was opening. I finally went and ordered a crunchy role and some fried rice. The crunchy role was good and the fried rice was AMAZING! I’ll probably order often since they are only a block away from me. The restaurant is small but it looks very nice. Of course you can’t have a restaurant in Hialeah without some servers that look like straight up chongas. One girl in a denim outfit and another one in tights sandals she probably bought at traffic… yet all the guys are dressed in pants and a dress shirt. I wonder how the owner of this place arranged that disaster. Other than that, I like how they had music videos playing on their tv’s. Now go try their fried rice!

Great service! I made a mistake with ordering here and they were totally understanding about nice about it. Love the menu options and variety available and the convenience for takeout.
