Tire Kingdom

Very bad, I had a nail in my tire, the guy just looked at it and said I needed a new tire, although the one that had a nail in it was 2 months old. Went to another place and they fixed it. These people just want to sell you tired, even if they can fix the old one. Liars and cheats

To start, if I could give this Tire Kingdom zero stars, I would.
I went in to Tire Kingdom to have my tires checked before a 1200 mile road trip. Turns out I had a nail in my sidewall, to which the mechanic said it «no big deal.» I later went to a mechanic that actually knew what he was doing and was informed that a nail in my sidewall is absolutely an issue before embarking on a 1200 mile trip.
I opted instead for a rotation and balancing which is free with the life of my tires. After giving them my info, they somehow could not find me in their system, which would mean they needed to charge me for said services. After presenting them with my receipt for the tires, they magically were able to find my information in their system.
I watched them lift my car in the service bay, leave it there for an hour and a half and lower it. During that hour and a half nobody touched my car. I was told the work was complete.
I’m sure they didn’t want to do free work, and preferred to focus on tasks that they have overcharged and misinformed clients about.
I will never, ever visit this Tire Kingdom, or any Tire Kingdom ever again

I haven’t written a negative review in a long time, however my experience today at Tire Kingdom really bothered me. I have been coming here for a little more than a year now, usually for oil changes and such but I also purchased a new set of tires and an alignment in April 2010 from them.
I went in today for a quote to fix a bumping noise my car is making at high speeds. Before the guy was even ten feet from my car he says, «You need all new tires, that’ll fix it.»
He hadn’t even gotten up to my car yet!
I should have known from then, but I still trusted them. I’ve been coming here and I’d never really had a bad experience, it was all pretty normal. So I asked him if he could please take a closer look, as I couldn’t imagine it was just the tires. He kicked one, looked at it, and told me my tires were bad. I told him I purchased them from him just 11 months ago.
He seemed taken aback a little and just said they would take a test drive and call me. I received a call maybe 45 minutes later, and still they say it’s just the tires and I need new brakes. I told him I’m not ready for brakes, and he immediately says, «okay, that wasn’t that important anyway»
So apparently they were just trying to make some extra money. He quoted me $ 574 for four tires and an alignment, which really isn’t a bad price, but I knew it had nothing to do with why I brought my car into there. I told him just to do the most economical oil change and I’d be there soon to pick it up.
I got there, and my bill was $ 40. I’d never paid more than $ 25 there for an oil change. I asked them why the steep price and he told me that I must’ve «used a coupon» before. Instead of looking in my account and maybe letting this one go for the normal price I pay, he insisted I pay and «get out of his store» since I was angry about the price.
Needless to say, Tire Kingdom, you have lost a loyal customer forever. I went to Firestone and I needed new wheel bearings, apparently it was drastically affecting my drive train. Which you didn’t bother to look at because you were too worried about your «tire sale» today.
Good luck keeping repeat customers like this — 40,000 mile warranty for nothing.

Service was okay. The guy was pretty friendly and I did not receive any negative comments of any kind. Yet, i walk in believing I need an alignment. Guy says, «well let’s see, it may be your tires». We both went to my car to check it out. He felt up my tires and said «yup there’s a bulge, that’s what’s making your car shake» I bought those tires 6 months ago, and they are good quality tires, I highly doubt they are the tires AT ALL. This guy goes as far as making an estimate for all four tires and didn’t even bother to see whether or not my car needed an alignment. That’s a big pile of poop I’m sorry. I grabbed my overpriced tire estimate and went on my way.
The next day my friend decides he needs an oil change. My friend loves his car and buys the best of everything for his car. He buys a type of oil tire kingdom does not carry. We call in to make sure they’ll change the oil with his preferred oil, and they guy says «no, I’m sorry, we don’t use outside oil any longer.» We proceeded to cross the street to the Nissan dealer. Their response when asked the same question, «OF COURSE! Why wouldn’t we use outside oil?»
Oh well, Tire Kingdom just lost out on our money. I will never go to Tire Kingdom again. It’s obvious their one and ONLY goal as a company is to take your money and nothing else.

At 8:30 this Wednesday morning (day off) I walked into this Tire Kingdom for a simple oil change. I’ve been here in the past, all but once I’ve been annoyed by the service. I thought well the guy is stressed, there’s a lot of people, cars, its a Saturday; I cut them some slack.
But today when I walked in the place was empty and the guy was just plain flat-​out rude, unresponsive and unaccommodating. Is a hello how can I help you too much to ask? Instead I got, «do you have an appointment, because its an over two hour wait.» For an oil change? You’re kidding me right, I have a Nissan not a Ferrari.
I will stick to the Tire Kingdom over by the office on Bird thank you very much.
