One of the best bakeries in town! It’s gets full so sometimes you might have to wait, but it’s definitely worth it. The staff is friendly and they try they’re best to work as quickly as possible while doing a good job. Can’t recommend anything specifically because it’s all good.

Freshness! I come here every morning I definitely recommend this place for all your bakery needs. Also, they have a variety of «picadillos» for last minute get together or parties for a really good price. It was very convenient for me when I had a kids party at my sons school. Im in love with their guava and cheese pastry it is the BEST in miami hands down!

Has to be one of the best bakeries in South Florida. I grew up eating bakery food café con leche, pastelitos, tostadas etc. Their pastries always seem to catch me by surprise. Warm, fresh, perfect combo of crunchy and creamy on the inside. It’s amazing!!! They have everything when it comes to croquettas and pastelitos(guava, cheese, mixed etc), in all sizes and as many as you may need. In addition, to eggs, cuban toast etc. I love going in early in the morning when they’re straight out the oven. Believe me it’s worth it! TIP: They’re great so you know they’ll be a line if you go during prime times.

This is one of my top spots in Miami Lakes for Morning meetings, they have seating outside so you can order your Cuban coffee and make sure to pair them with a pastel into

The Pastelitos are good and so is the Cuban bread and Cuban coffee. I would stay away from the cakes. The last one I tried was a dulce de leche cake for a family birthday. It was not good at all, dry, very sweet but no flavor. I suspect it was sitting on the shelf for a long time.

Apparently based off the reviews this is not the place you go to for cakes lol, I’ve never liked their cakes either but clearly their specialty are the pastelitos. Hands down its the best in town. The earlier you go the better and fresher! My favorites are the cheese pastelitos, ham and cheese croissant and some coffee usually some colada! Their orange juice is freshly made and good too! But I repeat do not get their cakes and even be careful about the other pastries. Anything in that big warm container to the left when you walk in with all of the pastelitos are what they’re good at and never disappoints!

At the rate Vicky Bakery is going, I think they remain in business just based on nostalgia when they used to be good. The cake I got was dry and tasteless. Who knows how long it was sitting in the display case. If you’re looking for a cake and don’t want the celebration ruined, look elsewhere. Also, the service left a lot to be desired. The cupcake, which was equally dry and tasteless, was not part of the cake. The woman who took my order said,(translated into English), «What? Do I look like a cake decorator?» Seriously? Putting a cupcake on the cake doesn’t require any skill.

Great place to have pastel de guayana(sp?). Not a good place for any type of French pastry. Also do not order a cake from this place unless it is small and fits in one of the boxes they already carry. Why? Well they don’t box up the cake. Their reason is because their patrons do not know how to carry a cake properly so they don’t box it. They also don’t purchase large boxes so again if you’d like your specialty cake protected be prepared to bring your own box. Also, the cake was ordered for 1pm but was not ready until after 2pm. Had I not paid for the cake in cash I would have left it there and called my credit card company to dispute it. Many lessons learned. Pastels great everything else bad

They’ve lost a long time neighborhood customer. On Sunday, I went to order a Baptism cake & spoke with employee who had to ask someone else for the pricing, capability, time frame, and all the details; after 30 minutes of back & forth for a simple, one tier, fondant-covered cake, I was told to return Tuesday with the ribbon that would adorn cake(a minor decoration). Apart from the discussion taking forever, I was peeved the order STILL wasn’t in. I was in a rush so I left. I walked in today with my ribbon & the decorator is «too busy» now. And no, we «can’t do anything.» And no we are«not sorry, but why didn’t you make the order on Sunday?» The employee I dealt with today even questioned the one from Sunday, as if I was lying to her when I said the 1st lady told me to come back instead of taking my order on Sunday. Another customer was there & even he was upset for me, begging them to do something for me. I visited them 3 times(total) for the same order always ensuring I had enough time to order only to be turned away today. Their attitude & complete lack of customer service caused them a whole family of customers for the rest of our lives…

I stopped in to grab some pastries while visiting South Florida. It’s been years since I’ve had Vicky Bakery and I was not disappointed. Guava and cheese are my go to and they did not disappoint. The coconut were good as well, everyone seemed to love them. The pastries tasted fresh and service was fairly quick, I’m glad I was able to get my fix here.

Just took a break from my busy day by going into Vicky Bakery for a cafecito and a pastelito de guayava. Honestly, I have had pastelitos all over Miami and they really do make the best! Warm, fresh, delicious, every time! It was so good, I brought some home to my mom so she could taste the delicious nostalgia of when we were kids visiting from NY. And to top it off, they offer a coupon in the Hometown Magazine! Good break from my busy day!

Vicky Bakery its not like it used to be, went for a quick snack with the family and was very disappointed. Guava and cheese pastries were terrible, burnt and tasted old. Definitely sitting behind that glass counter for a couple of days. Cookies were old tasted like they baked them with pepto bismol and the worse part they even admitted the cookies were old(big mistake)!! Take a good look at this place, you’ll notice is very filthy and to make matter worse they have no customer service. Not pleasant at all!

One of the larger bakeries in the area. Great for breakfast with tables and couches. Great coffee and a large variety of pastries that look very nice but they skim on the ingredients and have higher prices. The empanadas next door at Sedanos supermarket taste better.

If you never had Cuban pastries before this place is a good place to start! Yeah, they hardly speak English here, so the service is not that amazing but the pastries are tasty here. I guess, knowing some Spanish will help… anyway! **Note: Good place to take a date for breakfast here! Check it! They would have given them 4-stars but the lady messed up my order twice… anyways! I ordered the beef empanadas, which are good. I got the meat pastry, which are really good. The Guava pastries are good too. The Croquettes are good as well. The Guava and Cheese needed some more guava and Tres leches was kinda weak!

The best Cuban pasties I’ve ever had! I’ve tasted many from different bakeries over the years but none come close to these right here. I love how sweetly consistent their glaze is saturated throughout their pastelitos and how soft they are with a little carmalized crunch that melts in your mouth. The meat, cheese and guava pastries are all incredible but I love the cheese and meat pastelitos the best. Their ham croquettes and beef empanadas are also terrific. I love this bakery!

Oh man how I LOVE Vicky Bakery! I can honestly eat anything here, but I always get a ham & cheese croissant toasted with mayo & mustard. I also get 2 chicken croquettes and a chocolate Nesquik milk :) They already know me at this bakery because of how many times I go to them. if you early in the mornings there is always a long line, especially on the weekends.

This is my favorite cuban bakery! The croquetas(croquettes), both of ham and chicken, are delicious here. Other spots make soggy croquetas and hard pastelitos de carne– not here! All of their pastries are delicious. Great for picking up some pastries for the office or for yourself on the way to work as a quick breakfast. Only downside of this place is the wait -.- You’ll be here a good 20+ minutes waiting at their busiest hours(usually mornings and weekends). I’d reccomend the croquetas of chicken, the seasoning that they mix with the filling is simple yet tasty. And, a pastelito de carne(meat-filled pastry) is great two, a perfect balance of sweet(because of the sweet glaze on top of the pastry), flaky, and salty(because of the meat inside). Don’t forget your café con leche!

This is my local bakery and I love it! I have never gone wrong with ordering pastries from here. I love the croquettas and the pastelitos de carne. For any party or work event I usually take the party platters from Vicky bakery. It is delicious and economical to get the trays of 25 croqueticas or bocaditos. I also buy la pasta de bocadito to make my own pan con pasta or to eat with galletas cubana. This has been a hit for all outings in the boat, beach, and even tailgates. If you have a large order or are in a rush I highly recommend to call ahead and pre order. This place is always packed in the mornings.
