Ok, so this is what happened: I went back to their neighbor to purchase a few things I wasn’t sure if I should buy or not yesterday. Yesterday, for the first time, I actually noticed this store. I had no idea this was here. After G.C. Murphy and Company went out of business, an extension was constructed on the farther east side of this section of Palm Springs Mile to accommodate more retail spaces. That’s where this store is. Back in the day, Palms Springs Theater was closer to where T.J. Maxx is today. G.C. Murphy was a HUGE store and was divided into many businesses. Where Piccadilly’s used to be, the new one not the original one at Westland Mall, was divided into many businesses as well. It isn’t until you’re inside this shopping center that you see where this store is. The additions of Starbuck’s, the bank and Chipotle directly on 49th street, obscure this section of Palm Springs Mile even more. I’m taking-up some of the allowed character limit space to make sure and point this out. Because if you haven’t been to Hialeah in a while, you will probably end-up driving into the canal that borders this shopping center by mistake. Because we’ve been having freezing temperatures in Hialeah, I parked very close to the stores. Normally, I will park really far away to get some exercise. Hence, why for the first time while checking-in on Unilocal,I noticed this store. What struck my attention quickly, was the mannequins outside. Each were wearing some very nice old people vatas de casa. I have no idea what they are called in English. Colorful, arrayed with a clearly marked sign«2 for $ 12. I bought two for mother. I wasn’t sure if she was going to like them or not. Now that I know she does, tomorrow I will go buy two more. For mother… not for me. I would say, this store is 98.6% kid’s stuff, for all ages. Apparel, school uniforms, trinkets for newborns, gifts and more. All geared towards kids, Like the small, yet modern selection of vatas de casa for Abuelita«Fulanita» and friends. Mother is going to be the hottest 83 year old in Hialeah. Yeah, cinco estrellas. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Don’t even think about speaking English here. * This store is the Target of Chonga people and friends. The others in other Communities may differ, though. Don’t forget where you are, though. * Un SHOUT-OUT para las dos empleadas trabajando este turno. A madre le encantaron las dos vatas de casa que dejé que ustedes mismas escogieran.
