This is by far the best popeyes on the island. I am personally a KFC fan but I enjoy this popeyes for their wonderful service. The young hapa man at the front has always been very helpful with explaining the menu and the food is FAST! Their staff is friendly which has made all the difference to me.

First time eating Popeyes and it’s pretty good. I’ve only eaten at KFC, which is basically the same. We got the 9 piece meal with drumsticks, chicken wings, mashed potatoes, fries, and biscuits. I think it’s a lot more tastier than KFC, especially since they forgot to give us hot sauce, I thought it was tasty already without anything. Pretty good! I would eat at Popeyes again.

The food is consistent but this Popeye’s is getting one star because of the service. When we ordered our food there wasn’t enough already made so they had to prepare additional food, which is fine, but the manner in which the additional food items were delivered was extremely rude. The girl just threw the container on the table with a glare and walked away with a bad attitude. Not acceptable.

My 5 stars are for Peter who helped me at this location on Hickam. I was asking alot of questions about placing an order and prepaying for an event the next day. He was really helpful and friendly. Just wanted to know that I appreciated it as I know they deal with high volume all day. The chicken was great too! I like the chicken strips the best and I liked the blackened ranch sauce to dip them in!

Tried breakfast combo — chicken & egg biscuits sandwich(hold the cheese for me). It was delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. The biscuit was buttery. Thumb up to the cooks!

The food here isn’t that bad. The service was fast, but the way they handled customers wasn’t to professional. Something I would expect from the high school kids working. But overall, it was satisfying and I did enjoy my meal:)

9⁄10 times I come here the chicken strips are great. Every once in a while they are not crispy and old.

My favorite fried chicken place. The guy that helped me was fast and efficient. Even gave me extra shrimp and chicken! Lots of extra sauce too. Price’s are not bad for the quality of food.

I am a girl from Brooklyn who spent eight years in the south. This means that when someone says«sweetened or unsweetened» in regards to my tea the answer is always without a doubt sweetened even if that means an extra 500 calories so when I saw the big giant sweet teas sitting out at Popeyes I knew that it was meant to be. I ordered a healthy selection of a sweet tea and a biscuit and had it with honey. Diabetes special for one. I’ll be shopping for mumus shortly.

I like popeyes! I can’t afford to eat it regularly because then i would just be obsessed and develope cholesteral problems. Although popeyes is always one of those unhealthy foods you eat just because you have a cravings. For those of you who thought utensils are a must, you’re wrong, theres nothing like taking a meaty, crispy, oily, chicken drumstick and dunking it into a pool of mashgravy mixture. The biscuits here are A-Ok but i could seriously survive just off a whole barrel of drumsticks and a tub of gravy. Yes, i know. these are true fat boy problems of the first world. Why many of the locations are on base, confuses me. There are actually many unhealthy fast food places on base. I wonder if its because special discounts these fast food places get for serving near or on a military installation. Either that or the government is trying to fatten up the troops. Im not quite sure what the incentive is.

It’s a Popeye’s Chicken, standard fare you’d find anywhere else.

Haven’t had Popeyes in a while, so went there for a late lunch. This place has good days and bad days. Lately its been bad, the past few times I’ve eaten here. So, I think I’m done here.

«Two piece, spicy, white with red beans & rice, please.» I learned that phrase many years ago when I first started frequenting a Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits franchise in, believe-it-or-not, England. I don’t frequent Popeyes anymore, but the phrase still works. The phrase worked for me tonight when I cut out of work for a quick rare trip to Popeyes for dinner to-go. The chicken was good. The red beans & rice was better. The biscuit was the best! Now, be prepared to have this jingle stuck in your head all day: «Love that chicken from Popeyes»
