I was all for this place until I referred a co-worker and he got food poisoning from it. As other reviewers have said the guy is super nice!- I have always gone for the breakfast tacos or breakfast burrito, but I also ask for no meat each time. I thought the food was delicious and I typically go first thing in the morning, so the food should theoretically be fresh. My co-worker went toward closing and got a burrito and told me that although it was delicious going down, he spent the entire night sick with food poisoning from this food truck. I felt horrible for insisting he eat there and the thought of getting food borne illness will prevent me from ever returning to this food truck.

This food truck is a breath of fresh air. I have been craving Tex-Mex style burritos for a very long time on this island, and I just haven’t been able to locate anything worth going back to. After trying The Rolling Burrito today for lunch, I think I found my go-to burrito stop. The truck is a white truck with green letters that parks by the BX on Wednesdays and Fridays. I haven’t seen it serving food anywhere else, but I know that people I work with get their burritos on other days of the week from a different location. The food itself was great. Carnitas were seasoned great and were warm, the pico de gallo was very fresh, and the mango habanero salsa was hot but full of flavor. Mash all of these together in a large tortilla and I had myself a wonderful meal. The guys in the truck were also very outgoing and nice. They were explaining the menu to people in line and making small talk with everyone who ordered. They definitely know how to operate a great food truck environment. These guys will definitely get my business again; I can’t wait to go back.

This truck is a great addition to eating options on base. They are located over by the BX on Wed. and Fri. and next to the hangars on the other days. They serve not only burritos for lunch but also breakfast burritos. The breakfast burritos contain all the necessary ingredients: eggs, potatoes, cheese and chorizo. I think they have bacon also but not sure since I only get the chorizo. This truck is an off shoot of BC burrito, I think, so for lunch you can get the usual that you can find at their brick and mortar establishment except they only offer one variety of tortilla. Recently they added tacos to the menu but I have yet to try those. The burritos cost about $ 7 each but they are definitely more than enough for a meal. Also the guy that works there is super nice so go out and get some burritos so they don’t go the way of all the other food trucks that have gone on base, out of business.
