Laundromat Update Cleaning

Do not bring your clothes here! My clothes smell like puke and had to be re-​washed! Waste of $ 45. Worst customer service ever! 1 Star is too much.
I used their drop off laundry service because we were going out of town for a few days. They promised they use downy & bounce dryer sheets to justify charging $ 1 per lb. The smell on the clothes when I got them back was unbearable!!! My husband got so upset after smelling the clothes on our children that he called to bring it to the owners attention. The man who I assume is the owner got very angry and started immediately arguing with my husband and wouldn’t even acknowledge that there was an issue. I have used many laundromats for drop off laundry service and this is my worst experience ever!!! Mainly due to the owners horrible attitude and terrible customer service!!!

Except for one other customer, this place was empty on a weekday afternoon.
I went in ready to wash some laundry, and did my usual pre-​loading machine sniff test. Every machine I checked had a really powerful mold smell coming out of the drum.
I asked a young man working there (who turned out to be the owner’s son) about it and he denied there was any problems right off the bat. I asked him to smell the machines. After he did, he sarcastically asked me what washing machines are supposed to smell like. Not like mold, I told him. I suggested the machines get a run through with a cup of vinegar once a week and the doors get left open to dry the drum out. He made a face, shrugged, said «yeah ok» and proceeded to ignore me.
I don’t like moldy-​smelling clothes, so I grabbed my stuff to leave and as I was walking out, the owner comes up and asks me why I don’t like his washing machines. I told him about the mold smell. He immediately started laughing and denying there was mold and telling me the machines were stainless steel. I told him about how mold can collect in creases and ridges of rubber seals such as around the outer tub around the drum and the door seals. He flat out denied there are any rubber parts in his washing machine and told me he washed the machines every day with bleach and how there is no mold.
Yeah, what the heck do I know, I only used to fix washing machines and have a functional sense of smell.
If you like mold and crappy attitudes, this is the place for you.

Very clean. On fancy, but served it’s purpose. On site manager (owner?) Super kind and helpful, w/​o been pushy or smothering. Not in an upsale way. All machines worked great. My 4 son had a blast. Not real crowded, and the folks who came in either kept to themselves or were real friendly. They have a double load special every Tues & Thurs I believe.
