Small menu but good for lunch. I order items not on the menu and they are happy to oblique. Friendly staff. It’s basic diner food but we stop here every week. The best food here is the breakfasts.

This restaurant is located adjacent to the Village Green Golf Course. The dining room is roomy and clean and sports a nice view of the course. The menu is somewhat limited but the food is decent. They do a good breakfast and lunch. The dinner hours are limited in the winter months. The staff is professional and courteous. I wouldn’t consider this restaurant a destination, but it is one of your best dining options if you’re in the area. Grape recommended.

Lots of homemade items. The soups are homemade. Ordered the chicken noodle soup which had big chunks of carrots, chicken and thick homemade noodles, Yum! Had the Reuben sandwich which was good. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The restaurant was bright and cheerful.
Another good place to eat in Hickory. Probably 3.5 stars so I rounded down.
