Cubbard Express

Wouldn’t normally review a gas station, but this one deserves it! The people there are super friendly, esp the younger guy who has been working there a while. I don’t remember his name, but he definitely deserves a promotion! The store is clean and prices are reasonable.

This convenience station is located at the intersection of 10^th avenue and 16^th street NE (otherwise known as Springs Road), which is the main artery in NE Hickory.
Their Exxon gas prices were reasonable, and cheaper than a lot of other gas stations in Hickory.
I was pleased at the general overall cleanliness of the place.
Cubbard Express is clearly owned by someone who takes pride in their business.
* The gas pumps were new, spotlessly clean, brightly lit, and well maintained.
* Pay at the pump was fast and effortless.
* My receipt printed properly, albeit a bit slowly.
There is a large Dunkin Donuts next door.
Cubbard Express is situated right in front of Four Peas in a Pod restaurant, so I will probably be stopping here often in the future.
