Great park, well maintained. We bring our children here just about every week throughout the summer months. Not very good parking but other than that it’s a great park to go and hang out and let the kids play. Definitely recommend to others

This park is large and has an amazing disc golf course! The Disc Golf course is mostly in the woods and has many hills which makes the holes difficult and fun. You will get your exercise if you play all 24 holes.
The park has two playgrounds and a nice walk way where you can feed the ducks/​fish along the stream. There are large open fields also which are great for picnics or a pickup football game. The only thing about this park that should be negatively noted, is the parking. This park is huge and there is about 50 parking spots. The park could easily hold several hundred (or even a thousand) people. Parking needs to be addressed. If it were not for the parking — 5 stars easy! Enjoy!

I have grown up going to this park and I must say it is a pretty decent one. The grounds are kept pretty well and there are multiple playgrounds for younger children. Glenn Hilton Park also offers disc golf and a nature trail one going around the creek with ducks and small fish the other cutting up through the woods and into the hillside. If you’re in hickory looking for something free to do and maybe with a little exercise and nature involved this is the place to go. Bring a frisbee, blanket or some balls and prepare for a good time in the fresh air.

This is my favorite City of Hickory park. It has plenty of picnic tables, including some near a stream. There is a large covered pavilion that is always in use by a party group when Im there. The walking trail includes a boardwalk area and a steep set of stairs that is excellent for cardio. I often take my dog to this park, although leashes are required.

This is a City of Hickory park worth checking out. I frequent this park to enjoy the 22 hole disc golf course. The disc golf course is top notch, well maintained and offers challenges to all skill levels. It can get busy so be prepared to be patient.
Other than disc golf, there are two different playgrounds, covered picnic shelters, walking trails and more.
A great place to bring the family!
