Motioncraft is a division of this company. When their motor on the recliner froze I had to pay for the replacement and the furniture company and I are still looking for someone to install it. This company has not helped in any manner,

I am a professional designer in Illinois. I’ve been ordering Sherrill products for over 20 years, and have been pleased until now. The Illinois Rep, after seeing the client’s recliner that is wearing badly and squeaks, promised to do something about the problem. However, it has been nearly three months, and has neglected to do anything or contact me about a possible resolution to this problem. The chair can not be repaired, and needs to be replaced. I have never, in my 32 years of Interior Design, been so frustrated by a company and it’s representation! I will be posting the outcome as soon as I have any to share. Stay tuned!

Hi — I’m a professional designer in northern CA(ASID and CCIDC) and have used this company for over 20 years. They’re reasonably priced and very comfortable. Sometimes the fabrics are less than desirable — but use COM and you’ll be very pleased. I’ve used the ‘design your own’ model for a very good friend and she adores it and it’s comfort and if I were to purchase a sofa, that would be the model. Sometimes these reviews on Unilocal are worthless… be careful of their silly reviews and find out about the manufacturer, restaurant, et al elsewhere. Again — like the poor review said, it’s not 5-star, BUT worth every penny. To go the next step in upholstery would be to do totally custom and it’s just too expensive and silly in this economy. Try the comfort for yourself, and you’ll see. Maybe Stacey’s approach is wrong, and from another generation.

I called in a few times with some inquiries about purchasing their products. Not only were they unhelpful but the receptionists, all 3 of them, were EXTREMELYRUDE. She literally said, «Oh God,» on the phone to me when I asked a very simple question about which dealer I can get their furniture from. Their products are fine, not 5-star, but fine, but customer service leaves much to be desired.
