Renovated Plaza Across from the Old Train Station
A lot of effort has gone into renovating this area and Hickory should be proud. It’s an open area across from the renovated and repurposed train station. A farmers market is often here, there are a number of good restaurants, taverns, shops, professional offices etc on the sides of the square. A number of monuments honors those who made their impact on the community and a section to those who served in the previous wars. A rather large Gernan Field peice is at one end of the square.
