Hairport

I found myself with some free time on a Saturday afternoon so I took a chance and called Hairport. To my surprise they were able to give me an appointment. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated like family, hair looks great & eyebrows are perfect. I found my new Salon!

Chrissy cut and colored my hair for one LOW price! My hair looks the best!!! I love it. The only downside is that it took 2 ½ hours. Otherwise, it’s a win!

Very, very rude employees. I called and asked if I could come in for a cut and color, and was politely told yes. I came in, was rudely stared at and told they were closing. When I spoke of the confusion, they said I must have called the wrong one, but when I checked my phone, it was the right number. First of all, what salon closes at 2 pm on a Wednesday? Second, you just lost 120 dollars I was willing to spend on my hair plus a tip.

I will not go anywhere else!!! I LOVE THEM!
I have been going to visit Wendy, Chrissy and all of the girls for years. I now live in Brooklyn and STILL go out to Hicksville to see them. My mother was a hairdresser and I spent over 15 years working in salons and spas. I am VERY PICKY and they have ALWAYS gone above and beyond to make me feel amazing when I leave them. I never feel like I have to watch their every move to make sure I am getting what I want. They have been with me through highlights, single process color, at home color gone bad, long hair and Wendy took me short into the most beautiful angled bob!!! People would stop me on the street in Manhattan and ask me where I get my hair cut!!!
I can do my hair myself, I have access to the best products in the world… I still go visit my girls! They are my hair family!!!

This is my new salon!
Not only is the price insanely reasonable (full highlights for $ 85, haircuts for $ 30), but the stylists are all super friendly and efficient. My stylist, Kristi, has been amazing from the start — chatty without being invasive, and always creative about her approach to my hair. Plus, she actually remembered me when I came back; this is definitely not a snooty salon.
If you’re looking for great, affordable haircare, I would definitely recommend them.

If you’re looking for an old style friendly hair salon, than look no further than hair port in hicksville, The girls in there will make anyone feel right at home and do they work wonders. They are also especially great with children.
