This is by far the best sushi place ever! Very affordable and great good choices I usually get the sweet potato roll. It’s soo delicious and the best one ever! Today I got the Katsu Bowl. Wow I can’t believe I didn’t get it sooner!!! It was soo delicious. I only made it pass the chicken, didn’t have enough room for the rice. The bowl is sooo filling and the Katsu sauce on chicken is the best! I am definitely getting it again. And for only $ 6.99! Wow the price is a steal! Always my favorite spot to eat at the broadway mall. The best sushi and food here!

I’ve been eating here a while now. At first the prices have the illusion it would be sub par Japanese/korean food but I was terribly wrong. It may be just be a restaurant in a mall food court but it delivers with its food. The various offerings from sushi to chicken katsu and bulgogi, all have been a surprise to me in terms of flavour. I highly recommend this place for a quick sushi fix. One may say it’s not the same as a full sushi place or Korean barbeque joint but I am basing my review factoring in price and value versus taste. All in all its a place that my girlfriend and I can go to for a quick lunch or dinner.

I loveeeee this place !!! It is my go to sushi place for years now. When some one first told me to try it, I didn’t want to believe that I would like mall sushi. Well once I tasted it I quickly realized I was wrong ! I always get the sushi combo, it’s cheap and delicious(it’s around $ 7 – 8). Their spicy mayo is great. They also have a membership card that I think costs a few bucks. Use it every time you buy to get points, and if you go there enough you can accumulate enough to get a free sushi platter. It is possible to get because my cousin recently had enough points and we had a bunch of free sushi and sashimi. It was a sushi party ! If you haven’t come here yet, do it !!!

Pretty good sushi for a restaurant in the food court. Service is friendly and speedy. Bubble tea was amazing. For the price, this place is a definite recommend especially if you’re craving sushi while shopping at the mall!

For food court food its pretty amazing, but sushi wise, its nothing spectacular. We stuck to basics like Salmon, Tuna, Dragon Rolls, Spider Crab Roll… Which was all pretty delicious.

To preface, i haven’t gotten the sushi here so keep that in mind. Definitely feel the 4.5 star rating might be a little high for this place. I’ve gotten a bunch of the bento boxes and teriyaki combos. I’d say it’s definitely solid and the prices are good too. Around 8 – 9 bucks total for the combo meals. My most recent one was chicken teriyaki. Great how they give you a little bit of everything. The california rolls were solid but not spectacular. The fried stuff was fried nice and light; definitely a plus. Salad was solid but had too much dressing on it; will remember to ask for it on the side next time. The chicken teriyaki was a bit disappointing to be honest. Chicken was pretty dry and the sauce felt kind of thrown on — i’ve had much better. Overall, i think is a much better and fresher choice than a lot of other offerings in the food court presently. Rating might go up when i try the sushi. Thumbs up.

Had high expectations because of the reviews here, but it is only OK compared to a regular sushi restaurant. For mall sushi, it is pretty good. Many different rolls and cheap! We ordered a bunch of rolls and felt that there were too much rice in the rolls. We liked the Mexican and Florida rolls. The fish was fresh. The Bulgoki bowl was pretty good and big portion. Should come here early on the weekend for dinner because it gets packed. Would definitely go back and try the other rolls.

Good seaweed salad, fresh and no fishy aftertaste. Had the caterpillar roll and dragon roll and they were actually really good and very large portions. Great value for the price… I recommend and will go back. Oh, this a mall food court joint which is surprising.

I am no sushi connoisseur, but I’ve had my fair share of sushi from various locations. I was looking to grab a quick bite and came across this sushi joint in a mall. Yes! it was mall sushi, but like no other! I was very impressed with the variety of sushi, it was made fresh on the spot, prices were great!, I mean under 10 bucks and I was full. This mall sushi was better than most, fancy joints I’ve been to in the past. I highly recommend this. Its in a food court mall setting, so there aren’t any fancy tables and chairs. But who cares! It was good, and cheap. Also, before I forget to mention. The portions were huge too. I got 16 pieces of mixed salmon and tuna rolls for $ 7.00, along with some delicious hot miso soup to wash down. I would definitely go back!

Great quality food at an amazing value! I am always greeted with a warm smile from the older lady that looks to own the business every single time I come here. This place is a gem of a sushi place, especially located in a mall food court. This place can gets busy with a decent line during prime lunch and dinner times all the while the surrounding«restaurants» will have no wait. Every time I suggest sushi with someone new and tell them the place I want to go is within a food court, I get the side-eye; which is probably justified. The quality and freshness of the food here rivals many mid to high level sushi places I frequent in Manhattan. This place gets serious bonus points for having Japanese soda and bubble tea on hand to add to the charm of this place. I have the frequent customer rewards card, which doesn’t seem to be worth it in hindsight as it cost $ 5 to get that card and you have to eat an obscene amount of sushi before you’re eligible for the first tier of rewards.

Great place for lunch in the mall food court. The sushi is fresh and they have a wide assortment. The Bento boxes are great. To drink; they have Japanese sodas and bubble tea. Definitely recommend this place.

This place breaks the stigma of the nauseating mall sushi. The selection is not limited to a handful of prepackaged fare laying on a bed of ice. Instead you are greeted by a wall of delicately handcrafted sushi. From the heavy bento boxes, to the layers of sashimi of a Chirashi bowl, the food greets your palate with flavors that you would not expect from mall fare. Brown rice is also offered as an alternative for those who are carb conscious.

Our favorite — Chirashi and Fish salad bowl. Generous portions for less than $ 10. Highly recommended for quick and cheap sushi craving.

located inside the food court in Broadway Mall. Fair sized menu, lots of combinations of sushi rolls and lunch specials. During lunch time, almost always busy. I haven’t been here since my college days. loll and since I was in Hicksville, I thought I’d come here for lunch. Ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box. which was awful. Dried, overcooked strips of chicken, marinated in a teriyaki sauce that tasted funny. Came with 4 pieces of California roll, fried tempura and a miso soup. I should’ve settled for Panera Bread or something else. This was a disappointing lunch.

Value alert — Please go here to keep this place in business. I don’t know how they do it. The fish is fresh, portions are large and the price is oh so cheap. The initially sceptical side of me wondered how good mall fish can be, but after reading all these positive reviews on Unilocal,I decided to take the bait. I cast a wide net and ordered a sushi bento knowing that most of it would be made of fresh fish, which can be either awesome or terrible. I would rate Sushi.com’s food as the best I’ve had in a mall, top 25% of $$ sushi restaurants I’ve tried in NYC and competitive with $$$ sushi restaurants in NYC. Because of the price and location, I decided to give this place a 5 star(compared to similar restaurants in its class.) My sushi bento came with a piece of buttery salmon that more than covered the rice.(This is the kind of fish to rice ratio you want so that each bite fits into your mouth wonderfully.) Other pieces included tuna, yellowtail, white tuna and ebi. The tamagoyaki was okay. It tasted premade and was a little too dense for my taste. My boyfriend had the unagi bowl, which came with huge pieces of eel with just the right firmness. The bowl came decorated with sliced avocado and asparagus — an excellent complement to the saltiness of the fish. Overall, this totally beat my expectations for a spot in a mall, but boy am I glad I gave it a try.

The sushi here is seriously the best sushi i have ever had! Its so fresh and has so many different choices. I love their pictured menu so you can choose exactly what you want since you will know how it will look. I always order the Broadway roll. It is the most expensive roll there for $ 13 with tax BUT it is so huge and filling, it can make almost 2 people full. Really great sushi and love it! Now to the unfortunate part… I have seen two ladies work there, one older and one young(in her 20’s). The older woman, is so friendly and nice, but the complete opposite for the younger Asian girl. She is unbelievably rude to almost every single customer and they get very offended. Honestly, her attitude doesn’t make me want to come here but their sushi tastes so good i still keep coming back for more. Their sushi is 5 star! But that girl’s service is seriously a BIG(-) minus!

My Dad and I were so impressed by the sushi here. Its definitely not your typical pre-made mall sushi. They have several rolls to choose from as well as other options. We were very happy with their miso soup too. My dad normally thinks of miso soup as «dirty water» but after trying my soup, it ended up being our soup. You wait about 5 – 10 minutes for your sushi to be ready because they make it fresh. It’s in no way ‘fast food’ but it’s worth the wait!

For a mall food court sushi meal, deserves no complaints as far as price and quality is concerned. Sushi chefs make everything right in front of you and the wait is relatively short. I finished my dinner very full after consuming one dragon roll(eel) for about $ 10.50. I really enjoyed my eel. My friend was satisfying after getting 24 pieces for $ 12.47, a California roll, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon. Overall good experience.

After reading the reviews and having a crazy craving for sushi I had to get my butt over here. Their menu has plenty of options and everything is very fairly priced. I decided on the New York roll(crab, shrimp, tuna, snapper, salmon, avocado and cucumber wrapped in seaweed and cucumber NORICE ! Yessss) it was 9.99. Every piece of fish was extremely fresh, I throughly enjoyed this roll. I also ordered the caterpillar roll because everyone’s pictures were cute and yummy looking hehe. It was a spicy tuna roll. 7.99. Very fresh as well !! Lots of avocado on top. came to about 12 pieces cut up. Tax included these two rolls came to 19.55. I myself couldn’t finish both of them so I have leftovers. FYI– any roll can be substituted with brown rice for .50 $ extra. I saw this after I already ordered, I would have definitely gotten that over the white rice for the caterpillar roll. Oh well next time. Oh there will be a next time!
