Walgreens

Between Walgreens and Target, we’re probably going to have to rent a room at each since we’re there so much.
I’ve always preferred Walgreens and Duane Reade to CVS and Rite Aid, so I was extra happy when Walgreens bought out DR last year and merged the rewards programs. Whoot!
This particular store is convenient being right at the corner of 107 and Old Country Road, extra points because the store is 24 hours and extra, extra points because the pharmacy is 24 hours as well. Its even a friggin drive through!
I love places that are open 24 hours, I don’t like being bound by schedules. We’ll often get some random idea for some obscure reason and hit the streets like Harold & Kumar at 2am and roam the earth until we find what we seek. So kudos to this Walgreens for being so incredibly convenient.
The pharmacy is quick to fill prescriptions and all the technicians are very friendly and professional. The store overall is generally well stocked and kept pretty neat and depending on the hour is never terribly crowded. Though that probably because we’re usually there around midnight or later, LOL.
Aside from the special points, Walgreens is Walgreens for the most part and I like Walgreens. And I really love that I can get rewards points when I’m down by my office at Duane Reade and back here close to home.
So yea, it’s all good. A-​ok in my book!

Pharmacy is understaffed, as per usual for corporate pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS who are only interested in maximizing profit by any means. Waited 2 hours for a prescription, only to be told they didn’t have it in stock and that I’d need to wait even more for them to order it. Unbelievable.

What can i say this my go to walgreens, i really never had any bad experiences at this location. Everyone always seems very pleasant and helpful. this store is always kept clean and stocked. the best is that they remain open 24hours and that helps alot… so keep up the great work…

The real reason you go to a Drugstore is to get a prescription. The Pharmacy is very short on staff and the company knows it. I have talked to staff members and to the manager and regional manager and it all comes down to cutting numbers of workers. You can wait 20 minutes are more to get to the counter. The staff can’t fill the prescriptions and man the window and the drive up at the same time. I have complained to corporate it falls on deaf ears. Time to try another Drugstore this one is done for me!

All WG’s are not created equal! While you might walk in here and get the same exact feeling you’ve gotten in every other Walgreens (prepare to waste cash on new flavored dental floss), you would be wrong. Why? They have a bunch of people working in the rx department. You walk in and give your rx to a guy, 10 min later it’s ready. Done deal. And not the «we’ll have this done in 15 and never call your name out» bull, they’ll hunt you down and get you out. I like being hunted down when picking up my _​_​_​_​_​_​_​. Btw, said _​_​_​_​_​_​is amazing and keeps me _​_​_​_​_​_​especially in the evenings.

NA! JUST NA! You know what i’m saying?

Cvs sells the hd sd 4gb card for 36 $, wallgreens is 9.99 $!!! Big big difference. I will he shopping more often at wallgreens.

Pharmacy /​Stuff
Walgreen’s, like the competition has a large selection of goods for the home as well as a pharmacy and food department.
This place is large and busy but with lots of stuff — so finding things can take a few minutes.
Checkout was extremely slow– but they all seem to be at every Walgreen’s I’ve been to.
Busy parking lot around the perimeter.

It’s like a corner drugstore but a bittt larger. The sidewalk chalk «flu shot» signs litter the exterior walls at this 24-​hour mainstay with efficient staff and well-​maintained shelving.

Came through for me when I needed cold Meds… was sick as a dog.
A tad smaller than the typical Walgreens, to me anyways. Do these things hv a standard size who knows.

This place took my prescription right after I got out of urgent care across the street, filled it within 20 minutes, and sent me on my merry way. I usually use Target pharmacy but Walgreen’s quickness has won me over.

This is now my new local 24 hour walgreen’s. I have no problem with the pharmacy department; they seem reasonably well-​staffed and patient.
The regular shop side, however, seems to be consistently short staffed, and it’s not uncommon to wait on line for over 10 minutes, just to get out of there.
