I’ve been here for a quick weekday lunch many times; food is good and service is fast. Today was my first time for dinner. Service was friendly and attentive, guacamole appetizer was good but we passed on the garlic shrimp because they weren’t deveined. I know it’s probably fine since they were cooked but in a sit down restaurant I expect them to be cleaned. The flank steak on the steak salad was delicious but the pork in the Puerco Guisado was pretty tasteless. It’s BYOB so bring your own alcoholic tipple. Overall it’s an average-good rating.

I have been a big fan of Casa Maya, however after eating here tonight I have to say I’m very disappointed. My wife and I both ordered steak fajitas, and there was hardly any steak. Very disappointed.

Only got the burrito with rice and beans because everything else was over priced. Rice was dry and tasteless. Burrito beef and refried beans were too salty. Parking lot was empty when we showed up and now I know why.

It must take an act of God to get a liquor license in this state. Byob sux! Restaurant is dark… So dark it is hard to read the menu. Sopa de pollo is good. Mole enchiladas aren’t bad, but not great either. Service gives the impression that it is attentive, but getting refills on iced tea is nearly impossible. Same goes for the chips and salsa. The place has potential, but in the vacuum that is High Bridge, they just don’t know how a good restaurant should operate.

Being originally from Texas(home of the Mexican food) it’s almost impossible to live up to those expectations but I’m constantly on the search for something like home. This place isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either it’s simply okay. The staff is extremely accommodating but why wouldn’t they be with one other family in the restaurant for the hour that we were there. Let’s get to the food… PRESHOW: fried corn chips and salsa… the salsa was the red kind and it was served cold which didnt bother me but it tasted very familar… RAGU spaghetti sauce, yeap that’s it! Not a favorite of mine, not on spaghetti and for sure not to be passed off as salsa.(FREE) APPETIZER: small guacamole. This tasted odd. Odd in the sense that it tasted like the premade stuff that the cheif attempted to doctor up with cilantro and tomatoes. Again wasnt bad but I was aleast expecting real avacados…($ 4.00) ENTREE: mixed, chicken and beef, fajaitas which came with yellow veggie(peas & carrots) rice, pureed refried beans that tasted like chilli, a poor excuse for Pico(minced onions and tomatoes that rendered tons of juice), faux guacamole, thinly sliced chicken and beef sprinkles, grilled onions and bell peppers. The portion of meat was not portioned to the amount of veggies but overall it was large enough for me and the cub to both get full and have some to take home.($ 19.99) The place is clean and nicely decorated unfortunately the food missed the mark so I won’t be back.

Love this place! Usually go to the casa maya near Gillette, but decided to try out this location. Great food, amazing staff, owners are accommodating. Must try the enchiladas del mar, or the burrito ranchero. Both restaurants are extremely similar so you can go to either or and enjoy the same great authentic Mexican cuisine

Not great. Food is bland– not really authentic– and service is okay. Nice decorations though and in a convenience location. Lots of parking in the back which is nice

Have been hear twice and great both times for Mexican food. It is BYOB. Had Fish Maya which was swordfish and was great. Last time I had something more traditional for Mexican food — enchiladas. Definitely will go back again when I’m this area. Service was very friendly.

Casa Maya is a real Mexican restaurant. Try the mole enchilada or the tostada Maya. You’ll be back. It’s getting a little worn but we think it adds to the charm.

BYOB — no corkage. Tasty, fast, spacious, in a converted train station. Very cool. Portions are huge. The appetizers go way beyond the standard offerings — a must try. Highly suggest splitting entrees and apps to get a good mix. This is a menu you’ll stare at for awhile.

Would give it more stars because the food is decent but our experience was soured by the fact that they stuck us at a tiny two top table in the corner when the place was empty. Literally the only two top table in the place surrounded by empty four tops and spacious booths… Ordered an gazpacho and never got it… Food was not bad but the rice was hard as a rock. I’ve been here before several times and the rice is inconsistent…

First time at Casa Maya and definitely will b back for more Steak Ranchero. What a dish, no appetizer needed with the size of this meal. Perfectly charbroiled, loaded with peppers, onions and I asked for mushrooms on top. WOW, is all I have to say. From the pork carnitas to the sizzilin fajitas and wet burrito, what a spread we had. Service was great, u asked for something and u received it promptly.

Always my local Mexican go to! Can’t beat BYOB restaurants. You get a great meal and great service for cheap! Cozy atmosphere and private from the other tables.

Food is good and prices are reasonable. Place is dark, seats are uncomfortable, service is marginal. Décor is OK. BYO. Would rather go to Circa for the atmosphere but if you want Mexican, this is the place.

Nice people, really very mediocre food at a price that is unjustified. Pass this one up.

This is not Tex Mex but excellent Mexican. We dine her twice a month and the shrimp or mushroom appetizers are always a favorite. Giant shrimp in special green wine sauce is a great main course and my favorite. BYOB makes it very affordable and the extension provides a great open atmosphere.

Not a very good restaurant. Lacks creativity, tries to be authentic mexican but would fair better if more texmex. Very heavy food. My stomach hasnt fair well after three tines Ive eaten there. 2x i went cause mother-in– law loves mexican. I wont go back. She wont either Rice is really bad. If they were more like a Chevys theyd fair better. Avoid. HEAVYFOOD, NEEDSLIGHTERMOREFLAVOR, CREATIVEDISHES, CONSIDERTEXMEX.
