We were glad to see them reopen. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our order. We ordered three basic dishes and all three were mediocre at best. Two of the dishes smelled as if they were using old/burned oil. Will probably not visit again.

This is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. The staff is very friendly and the inside is beautiful and inviting if you decide to dine in. We probably order from here 2 – 3 times a month. It’s so nice to have such a good Chinese restaurant in town

Best take out Chinese in the area. Google maps had a tough time finding it. Food was hot and portions were plentiful. Many places around here have bland food, but not Peking Wok. Wonton soup is very good and so are the egg and spring rolls.

Great takeout Chinese food. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly quick service. The prices are very reasonable especially the lunch specials.

I stopped getting Chinese Food because the other places in Hunterdon County were pretty awful. …until now. Have enjoyed the meals we’ve gotten. My favorite pork and broccoli. Staff very friendly and apologize if have to wait. Yes a line because they are good,. Can order on line too for specific pickup time. Primarily take out but few tables to eat in. Go and enjoy.

Probably the best Chinese food in western New Jersey and definitely worth the drive if you’re anywhere near. It’s bright and clean inside too so you can eat in and not feel like you’re in some dirty kitchen.

I am SO glad they reopened Peking Wok in High Bridge! This is by far the best Chinese food in Hunterdon County.

We have gone here a few times now. Friendly people, and good food. I’m personally not crazy about the celery in the cashew chicken, but everything else we’ve tried has been pretty good. Egg rolls are nice and crunchy, and they really pack the lo mein. I recommend it!

Disappointed. Sesame chicken was mostly fried batter and curry chicken had rubbery texture.

I ordered take-out at the Peking Wok for the first time, after reading about its opening in a local newspaper. The restaurant was crowded on a Saturday night with about a dozen people waiting for their orders. I imagine that a combination of news about its opening and the Saturday after Thanksgiving(who wants to cook?) made for a very busy evening. A friend introduced me to Beef Curry at a local restaurant in Maryland. After moving back to New Jersey, I never found a Chinese restaurant that could come close — until today. The beef curry was perfectly made with onions and green peppers, and with the perfect amount of spice. The ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, my wife’s beef fried rice was not as good. The rice looked like it was cooked in beef broth rather than fried. Overall, it was either bland and lacking in beef. And our spring and egg rolls were average. If the beef fried rice was as good as my beef curry, I would have rated Peking Wok with 4-stars. There are tables in the restaurant but I did not see any wait staff. I suspect the teenage counter person also doubled as the wait staff, but she would be hard pressed to do both jobs and take orders on the telephone. Besides, the restaurant was rather cold with people opening the door on a cool night. I wish Peking Wok well. Maybe they are experiencing a few hiccups with the recent opening. Hopefully they will get better with more practice.
