This park is off of Wendover and near the Palladium area of High Point. It is a smaller park with three shelters(with bathrooms and tiny playgrounds), a couple of baseball fields, a soccer field, and a cabin that I have no clue what it is used for. There is one trail near shelter 2 that I have never been on. Quite frankly when you compare it to other parks in our area, there isn’t much going on here. There are better parks for shelters and play areas. If you are in High Point, I would go to High Point City Lake Park for more amenities, particularly if you want shelters or play areas for children. But it would probably do OK for most people. I come here once or twice yearly since this park has parking and an entrance to the Bicentennial Greenway around mile marker 3.5. This greenway goes through the Piedmont Environmental Center — North Preserve. It seems that when I come to this park, the only time I see folks is at this parking spot as people are never using the park itself. OK.
