If I could I would give NO stars… This company is the worst to work with. I ordered a product and before I placed the order I called and asked what their return policy was and the lady said they return items with in 5 days. So I recieved my product and it was NOTHING like what it was online so I called and got a RMA number to return the item and now they tell me they will charge me 10% restocking fee and shipping costs wich was not mentioned at all before! All I did was open a plastice bag and now im hit with all charges. CRAZY. I spoke to a manager Jaime and she said theres nothing she will do to keep my business. Worst customer service I have ever recieved! I will go somewhere else where my business is valued and they are willing to keep their customers. GOSOMEWHEREELSE to purchase anything!

I ordered two Minka Lamps from this company byway of . They were wonderful at first. They agreed to a price match even though the lamps were discontinued at other sites. Also, they only had two left. They came quickly and shipping was free. The gentleman I spoke to was super nice. One lamp arrived with all the parts even though the crystal was not attached to the finial. The other lamp arrived without a harp and finial. I contacted Homeplace Group and spoke to Jamie. She was supposed to follow through for me by contacting Minka for replacement parts. She contacted the wrong people and never got back to me. I had to follow up with her and she said«They haven’t called me back yet.» Or «They said it’s been discontinued and can’t find parts.» So I had to contact Minka. On my second try with Minka I spoke to Heather. She ‘magically’ found a harp and two finials and had them mailed to me directly without all the«red tape» of going through Homeplace Group. I still didn’t get the finials in time for the guest room for Thanksgiving. So I wanted a partial reimbursement from HG for the delay, time and hassle of having to complete my lamps myself. They said I had the option to return or get replacement parts. I got the parts so they considered the«case closed.» These people are as slooooooooooooow as Molasses. Just hope your wares arrive in perfect condition. If not — be prepared to do the leg work yourself and have them take the credit for«Ya got your parts.» I will say the lamps are gorgeous and the parts from Minka were a perfect fit.

I bought 16 bed frame glides from Homeplace, and received them fine with fairly fast delivery. One of the glides was not perfect, so I emailed their Customer Service department to ask how I could get a replacement. I got a fast email response from Elizabeth who apologized and said a replacement was being shipped at no charge. Now that’s outstanding customer service and an excellent retailer. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business again with Homeplace Group.

I’d never buy from this people again. They sent me the wrong item then charged me shipping to return it and to make it worse they charged me again for shipping to send out the right item. Their customer service is non-existence.
