Excellent experience! The pizza is a thinner crust, and a little flaky. The toppings are really good, and I’m one funny acting chick when it comes to meat! They put plenty of cheese, and the sauce is tasty also. They have added 2 tables outside, and I LOVE it! There is not much to see on Main Street, but we have to start somewhere! This is a 5 star experience for me, however, the bathrooms really need to be updated. Otherwise, if your in the area — it’s a must try!

The BEST baked lasagna I’ve ever had! Literally, nowhere else compares. I won’t get lasagna anywhere else now. Have that with their sweet tea and butter bread, perfection! No complaints whatsoever.

Pretty good pie at a very good price. The atmosphere reeks of Italy and Greece. Thin crust with the appropriate red sauce that had just a hint of sweetness. The mozzarella is their signature part of the pie, it is fresh and comes in abundance. The pepperoni and sausage were tasty as well. The ladies that waited on us looked to be right off the boat from southern Italy or possible even Greece. Overall, not disappointed but not overwhelmed either, certainly worth the price and visit.

This place is awful! Poor service, never served our food so we left! One women did apologize! Other friends at other tables said food was mediocre! Don’t waste your time on this place!

Service was ok but the pizza was absolutely lousy. I don’t think I would ever go back there again it’s right off of Main Street has been there for years but the food was really bad.

Based on reviews — decided to give it a try. Gyro was pretty good — steak sandwich was ok. The pizza was very Greek — flaky crust with lots of cheese. Better pizza is available at Elizabeth’s on Westchester.

I eat at this restaurant about once a week and sometimes we come in for dinner. I’ve been very disappointed with the quality of food since Jeff has left. Nothing is worse than biting into fried okra and it not being cooked enough. I had ordered a house salad with my meal and watched as it sat up on the line to be picked up by the waitress. She brought my entrée and then lied to me(nothing is worse than a bold face lie) and said that the cook didn’t get the salads ready before the entrée. Please don’t lie — your patrons are not stupid. The truth is better than a lie — you are human and make mistakes, don’t compound it. I still have my regular waitress, Carol, during the week, but all of the evening wait staff are no longer there and I miss the interaction with them. One time when getting the lunch special, they didn’t have the dessert, which NEVER happened when Jeff was running Jimmy’s. I think the change in management was a HUGE mistake.

Back for second night in a row. This is the quintessential mom and pop pizza shop where guests ask the staff how their families are, it’s the aunt’s house where you always feel welcome to take another bite. I stopped by for a convention down the street, and the pizza I had was so delicious(lots of cheese… and good mozzarella too) I’m now waiting on my perennial favorite: chicken parmesan. The place is clean, the staff easy to get converse with while you wait, and the atmosphere is unashamedly welcoming. Here is a place that believes food brings people together and leaves them happier

Three of of were in High Point for the day and found this place. I had the Chuckwagon steak and fries, buddies had chopped steak and Greek spaghetti. Everything was good and portions were large. One thing though, it’s cash only. There’s an ATM across the street at Wells Fargo.

Meat and 2 for all others to be measured by. One of the best meat and 2 veg I’ve had in a long time. Large, filling, tasty portions. Greek chicken on Thurs falls off the bone. Turnip greens are tasty. Lunch plate comes with cobbler and drink. How can they serve this much food for this cheap? $ 5.95 Bring cash!

I’ve had this little place on my High Point restaurant«bucket list» for a while now, and today we were in the immediate vicinity after visiting a client several blocks away. This is a small, worn, rather dim place with a few counter seats, and a number of bright red booths that lack comfort. The folks are very friendly, the service fast and efficient. The name includes pizza, and it may very well be excellent, but this place is really about comfort food — Greek, Italian, & American — in huge portions, at true value prices. The Daily Specials(11AM — 3PM) include a meat, 2 veggies, dessert of the day, and a beverage for $ 5.95. We tried the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce with Garlic Bread(No veggies), and ¼ Greek Chicken with seasoned rice, mashed potatoes, and pintos. Both came with Banana Pudding. The Spaghetti was good, not great — a little sweet, thin on the meat. The 3 pieces of garlic bread were excellent. The portion of the spaghetti was massive. The Greek Chicken was also outstanding, matching that at The Acropolis Restaurant in Greensboro, which has always been my standard for this dish — it was tender, moist, and loaded with flavor. The large portion of well-seasoned rice accompanying the chicken was also outstanding. The mashed potatoes and gravy, and the pinto beans with freshly cut onion were also very, very tasty. The Banana Pudding was also nice, with some real cut banana in it. They menu is broad. They offer sandwiches, salads, burgers, subs, pizza, additional pasta dishes, and plates — CS Steak, Meatloaf, Breaded veal Cutlet, Baked Ham, Chopped Sirloin, Fried Flounder, Liver, and more. This place is not much to look at, but it offers an exceptional combinatiion of quality and value in the arena of comfort food. Oh yeah, we’ll be back. Bring cash, no CC accepted here.

It is called Jimmy’s Pizza House though almost every customer ordered a Pasta Dish with meat Sauce and Baked with Mozzarella on top! There is a certain Diner kind of Charm to this place and it has been in this same spot since 1972! When I go to a place like this(usually Greek Owned Diner) I order Spaghetti with Meat Sauce because when it is a really GREAT, I’m real happy! This one is only good because the flavor is only good! Good enough for about 3.21 Unilocal stars which means you’ll never see me here again though the flavor was good it was not any better than A-OK. The noodles were PERFECTLY drained and nearly perfect texture! Because they are cooking so much pasta it will probably always be consistent! Lasagna is not one of my favorite dishes anyway yet I’ll say this one is better than some, it is a VERY simple one… Seemed to be only Ricotta perfectly layered between Lasagna Noodles and plenty of Meat Sauce on top and all around and More Meat Sauce on top of Meat Sauce! Yes we ordered Pizza too! Before reading reviews on this place I had never heard anyone talk about the Pizza, everyone gets the baked Pasta dishes. This place has Pizza in the name so we wanted to check it out — It was just a little better than a Frozen«Gourmet» Grocery Store Variety Pizza, which to me means it was good as in 3.25 stars at best! Super thin crust, plain Sauce, plenty of Cheese, seemed to be all Mozzarella! Value! This place was plenty busy for an area of Downtown that is almost a «ghost town» after 6:00PM on a Wednesday! I think most people will say the food is GOOD and for the price it is a deal! C a $ h ONLY!

They only take cash so be prepared. Their pizza is great, thin crust and not too greasy. I love this place, it’s hard to find parking sometimes but so worth it. I wasn’t too fond of the daily lunch special or the hamburger so stick with the pizza. Very polite staff, and fast service.

My coworker ordered the spaghetti with pepperoni. When they brought it up, I was so bummed that I didn’t get it too… but then they brought in my pizza and it was amazing. North Carolina is not stingy with cheese! We(two girls with decent appetites) each finished half our food… thus having half for dinner… not bad at all! Would definitely come back if I ever find myself in the area

In my opinion, the best restaurant in High Point. I moved away almost a year ago and every time I go home I have to go eat there. Everything is excellent and homemade. I love their eggplant parmigiana, the eggplant isn’t breaded and the meat sauce is perfect.
