Don’t walk away from this company, run! I ordered 8 chairs COM through Safaveih in Stamford, CT and it took 4 months to receive the chairs. Upon receipt, two of them were damaged. One one chair the fabric had punch holes all over one section where the nailheads were improperly pushed in and then removed. The other chair had a section where the fabric was all worn, nubbed and rubbed through from mishandling by the upholsterer. Precedent saw pictures that I sent of the damage and said they would pick up the chairs and repair them immediately. Two months later and I still have not received the chairs. Even more, they told my decorator that SHE had to purchase the extra 2 yards of fabric to repair the chairs even though they agreed that they would repair them from the start since they arrived damaged! At this point, they will not provide a date of when these chairs will be repaired. At the end of the day, all I did was submit a very simple order of 8 chairs COM and all in all it will take somewhere around 8 months to receive my 8 chairs and the company did not do what they promised in covering the costs of the repair since they delivered them to be damaged. Completely unacceptable and my poor decorator has spent endless hours dealing with this issue. I have worked with many furniture companies out there and have never ever experienced such lack of customer service. My decorator is an esteemed decorator who has been published many times in national design magazines and she will never purchase for this company again. Beware of this company!
