Rixter

Great place. Ask for Ashley to be your server. Love the peel and eat shrimp. Great locally made cakes.

Rixter was originally on South Main Street in High Point, and we had visited that location prior. The good news is — this location is much larger and much nicer !
The staff is very friendly, and the food is good. It is mostly bar food, so don’t expect an exotic cuisine!
The best part about Rixter is that it reminds me of Cheers. FINALLY, a real-​life neighborhood bar. Noone will sweep around you after 10pm, and everyone there are mature and in chill-​mode.
There is a juke box that I LOVE. It has everything from deep southern, sad country music to pop to twerking hip-​hop music.
Cool place!
