Generous portions. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Flavorful food. I always enjoy a meal at Singha Thai!

This has been an on /off lunch spot for me. This place is located past the Panera off of Penny road. The parking is not as bad. The wait for food may take a tad longer than antipiatted. I would highly suggest if you are certain you doing a take out. Call ahead of time. We made the trot of ordering while there and it was a a 40 minute wait. The wait was worth while though. I had the Thai shrimp and pineapple rice. It was made very different than what I have been use to. I requested brown rice instead of he standard jasmine. The accommodation was made. The rice was different but a terrific combination of flavours. It had hints of curry. In addition, it had raisins sautéd Customer service was terrific! Due to the wait, the host was friendly and made some recommendations for my next visit. I will be back!

I was craving Thai food on a Sunday night and Singha II was one of the only restaurants open around that time so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. Being a huge fan of Thai food, I came with expectations. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and the Pork Fried Rice. Both were pretty decent — nothing too special and I have no complaints. It was flavorful and filling, but I have had better. I like how each person gets a personal salad(with either ginger or peanut dressing). Very refreshing before the entrees came out. Service is great. Our waitress was very attentive and the ambiance inside is really nice and clean. Will probably come back again and try other items!

You never go wrong with any dish here, flavorful, I don’t have a favorite dish because I like all of them. I will recommend pineapple rice.

Hidden in an unassuming strip mall, this is one of the many great places in the burbs between Greensboro and High Point. It’s the type of place that you’d barely notice unless you knew it was there, but the always useful coupon book led us to venture off and check out this wonderful little spot. The décor is nice but not overwhelmingly so. The staff were almost overly helpful. We were confused a bit by the menu and took a while to digest it, meanwhile, i believe we were asked 4 times if we were ready! If they weren’t so chipper, it would have been annoying. A fairly unexciting salad was brightened up by the ginger. I had the pad kee mao, which some described as spicy. I didn’t find it that spicy but it was quite delicious. My wife had the red curry, which after sneaking a bite, I wish I had gotten as well. Overall, it was reasonably priced, especially with a generous coupon with extremely helpful staff and some nice décor. I would highly recommend a visit!

Was in the area and decided to try this place during lunch time. Not a lot of Thai restaurants open on Saturday afternoon, so the fact that they were open was a plus, I guess… I was immediately served the free appetizer. It was creamy tomato soup — didn’t look appetizing at all but decided to try one small sip… Unfortunately, the taste was as horrible as the look :(It tasted like tomato soup with coconut milk on it… Creamy but not in a good way… Not sure if this is a Thai dish as I’ve never encountered it in any Thai restaurants before. I ordered the red curry with chicken. The rice was way over cooked, very mushy(seriously, how could you go wrong with the rice??) and was put on the same plate as the curry. Most places serve the rice in a separate bowl so you can decide how much rice you wanna have with your curry… So to me, this was a bit weird, but whatever… On to the curry, the vegetables were overcooked, there were few pieces of chicken… So, this was a bust as well… Décor felt outdated. Attentive server. Sadly, won’t be coming back due to the food quality.

This place has no reason to give less than 5 stars. The service was great, constant check ups for refills and to make sure we didn’t need anything. Hot and fresh food, I think I burnt my tongue on the Thai dumplings. Good average Thai food prices. The food was great, my sister got the red curry which was so good I might have to try it when we go back. I got pad Thai which was also good, sorta sweet when you’re close to finishing your plate, but still flavorful. I can’t wait to go back.

As soon as I walk in, I’m greeted not by one but two or three. I love the food! I’ve tried plenty other Thai restaurants & this is Winning. I’d come back over & over again for the pad thai and cashew nut. Super Tasty & the wait on the food was a jiffy. I was really hungry the lunch came with a soup & a roll. I drink like a fish and the servers make sure it never goes dry. They all are real sweet & speedy. Servers also offered you spices to try to compliment your meal. Affordable prices depending on your choice of Veg., Meat & Seafood w. Your lunch entrée. Can’t beat the price at all. Overall, I had a lovely experience & I can’t complain.

Best Thai place I’ve ever been to. The staff is attentive and very friendly. You will feel welcomed & at home instantly. The owner is also very kind. He comes out and sees how you’re doing. But the best part is the food. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and the prices are great! Will definitely be back asap.

I’m going to have to give this place two stars due to the customer service skills, or lack thereof. I called to order drunken noodles, green curry and an order of crispy rolls. I called back a few minutes later to add on extra eggplant to the green curry and she told me my order was ready and they couldn’t add it. I let her know she might want to suggest telling the chef to add more than two pieces to the dish when he makes it then. She got extremely rude and told me that she would suggest it to the owner and hung up. When I arrived I asked to speak with the owner after finding out our order was wrong. He said he didn’t want to be bothered. Too bad. I was in ear shot of hearing this too. Maybe I won’t bother you and order from a business that doesn’t take its customers seriously. I liked going here and really enjoyed the food. But after the way I was treated tonight, I’ll give my business elsewhere.

Friendly wait staff! Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere captured with the dim lighting and soft jazz playing in the background. I had my traditional Massaman Curry. It is a coconut-based broth with sliced chicken breast served with onions, carrots, and potatoes. Often times it is served with a side of rice. Well, the broth was quite good; flavorful and smooth. The carrots were steamed to perfection and still had a slight crunch to them. The server offered me a spice tray where I sampled some fresh jalapeños alongside the meal. The wait staff came by several times to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. The serving size was quite large in comparison to most of my experiences in Thai restaurants, but no complaints here. It just provided me with more food to savor and enjoy. Most definitely a keeper in High Point. Thanks for such a delightful meal to end the year!

It’s been too long, unfortunately since moving don’t get to eat here as often as I used to. The staff are so warm and friendly. Great to taste the delicious food again… LOVE this restaurant.

I am not in the mood to write a whole bunch but the dinner experience here is not as good as the lunch. Mainly because of the price and the fact that they don’t give you a spring roll but a side salad with peanuts or ginger. The ginger dressing here is not good at all nor is the seemingly bagged side salad. I don’t know why you serve a salad at dinner and a spring roll for the side at lunch it doesn’t make sense to me but anyway. I was used to having a free refill of the Thai tea but was informed that promotion had ended yesterday as well. Oh well.

My spouse and I love Singha II! We’ve been there a few times: once for lunch, and once or twice for dinner. My spouse typically gets Pad Thai, and I get the red coconut curry. My spouse loves that he can make his dish as spicy as he wants to. I love how the spice of the curry combines with the sweet, coconut milk. Entrees come with either soup or salad, and usually a spring roll. All are delicious. This is one of our favorite places in High Point, and we’ll definitely be back.

Great all around! If you’re dining in, the place is very clean, servers are very helpful when you’re selecting dishes and are very attentive. My favorite is the Pad Kee Mao(drunken noodles) which are SPICY! I can’t really handle spicy foods so I drink like a camel trying to refill and my servers have always been on point! If you’re getting takeout they make it in a jiffy and are really well priced and the portions are always enough for two people to share. My fiancé and I typically get an order of curry and pad kee mao and eat off of it for days. I always order tofu in my noodle dishes here as these are the larger cubes, not rubbery slivers of tofu like I’ve seen some places. Two thumbs up!

This a another regular for me. You sit down and minutes later a cup of the daily special soup is placed before you. The staff is attentive. My personal favorite is the Curry. I like it Thai hot. Prices are great and they have a frequent diner card.

If you live in High Point and love Thai food this is a great option for you. I would recommend a visit during lunch when they have great specials ranging from 6 to 8 dollars. I typically order a noodle dish like pad see ew and add chicken or shrimp. I also enjoy their eggplant stir-fry that comes with a side of rice. Lunch specials include a spring roll and soup of the day. Asked for extra condiments on the side if you like things spicy. Good, solid place for reliable Thai food in High Point. I enjoy it a lot. I’ve been to one or two other places I like just a little better but they are in Clemmons and Winston. I suggest trying this little spot in the neighborhood. You won’t be disappointed. Also, service is great !!

I’ve been to this place multiple times and sincerely recommend it. The dishes are really delicious; the ambience and service are both great; most importantly, the price is unbelievably low compared to restaurants of similar standard.

The atmosphere here is somewhat intimate; casual but intimate. The waiters and waitresses are an abundance. I think about 4 different people throughout the night came by the table to ask how everything was and/or waited me. Overall they were all friendly. For an appetizer I had the chicken Tom Yum. It definitely had a lot of onions. They need to tone it down and cut it in smaller slices and add more mushrooms. the soup was a little on the white side but the flavor was there. As for the entreé, I ordered the crispy curry duck. The flavor is definitely tasty and the duck was cooked medium but the skin was not as crispy. Maybe it’s because of the curry but I was hoping it would be a little crispier. The pineapple in the dish complemented the sweetness but I was hoping it would have a little heat and there wasn’t any. the food is definitely satisfying and the servings are on the larger portions, a nice spot to have a good dinner.

Well I had to raise my rating as singha II is a solid place regarding food and service which –I realized– is not always the case around. I like the fact they have enough choice to not get bored and that the service is usually quick even when there is a lot of people. And you are not hungry when you leave, not like some other places around.

After all the very good reviews, this was a restaurant we had to try. I was particularly interested in seeing how this place compared with other Thai restaurants in the area, which I have found to be very inconsistent, and mostly unappealing. I did find out one interesting thing from this experience — it is entirely possible that I simply do not care for the vast majority of Thai dishes. The Thai Spring Rolls(3 rolls for $ 3.99) were simply tasteless, and there was nothing a sauce could do to mask that. I was unable to identify the nature, much less the taste, of the items inside. The Shrimp Pad Thai($ 12.95) was yet another version of this dish that I’ve tried, and yet another version that I simply do not care for. There is a combination of tastes and textures that I do not find at all tasty or in anyway appealing. Bangkok Chicken($ 10.95) was like chicken tenders, Thai style, with a wierd sauce, and some distressed vegetables. I do not approve of this dish. Mussaman Curry($ 10.95) was much more like a soup, than any curry that I’ve encountered — and I’ve encountered a few curries. Regardless of the texture, or the liquidity of the dish, there was nothing here I liked. Pork Fried Rice($ 9.95) is generally a dish that is hard to screw up, but when you substitute chicken for pork, you have at least made a beginning in that dubious direction. To add insult to injury, the chicken was tasteless, and way over-cooked. Nua Yang($ 7.95) is a marinated beef salad, a dry marinated beef salad — I find I do not care for dry, marinated beef salads. Eating food from here is not an option.
