This U Haul location has been here for over 20 years. The same man, Tom Dugan has been managing it since day one. Over the years I have had the need for rental trucks, trailers and I have had several hitches installed on my vehicles at this location with never any issues arising with poor workmanship. They weren’t the cheapest for the install but, remember that we get what we pay for.
During the times that an issue arose with the rental truck, they were quick to send a repair guy/​tow truck to take a look at it and then since it couldn’t be repaired they got me set up in a new truck no questions asked. They were apologetic and thanked me for my business. You don’t see that much this day in age.
The service here is good but, not outstanding. There are some shortcomings but, that lies mostly with corporate U Haul and the equipment. Not with Tom and his crew specifically. They do a lot of business and it always stays busy so, on a Saturday morning you can expect to wait a bit to get service.
I’ve never used the self storage but, based on my inquiry some years back, there are better alternatives if you look around.
For your rental needs, this place fits the bill, just make sure you have a reservation for your rental prior to walking in as you are likely to be «left out in the cold» if you don’t due to the volume this place does.
