Dave’ Diner never fails. The Best Fried Chicken in town at a very reasonable price. Very friendly and fast service, Teresa is amazing like a whirlwind, she never stops moving. The chicken comes to the table squealing hot and crispy, just the way it ought to be.
A good selection of cake and pies too.

We really enjoy eating at Dave’s. Breakfast is always good. If you like fried chicken, their’s is amazing. And, that’s no small compliment from me. I grew up eating real southern food. Staff is always friendly. We get carry out a lot, never had a problem there either.

I have went to this restaurant quite a few times, and never had a problem until tonight. Everything was fine until I received my food. The waitress cooked everything so fast just so she could sit on her lazy ass and talk to other customers. Doesn’t sound like a problem, right? Until you see your eggs aren’t cooked all the way, the cheese you ask for on top of it is literally just cold shredded cheese sitting on top, not melted, and your hash browns are soaked. I’m sorry, DRENCHED in grease. I wanted to barf. I ate nothing but the pancakes and bacon, but still payed for it. The waitress, Theresa, never once asked how I was doing except when she brought me a box. I told her I had a problem and she literally laughed in my face and walked away. Terrible right? Gets worse. I decided not to tip her because of this, and I sat in my car watching her give me dirty looks and talk bad about me to the customers that were so much more important. Being the kind hearted person I am, i walked back in and gave her a 3 dollar tip anyways. I got home, and called asking for Dave’s number. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD. She gets an attitude saying that she can not do that, fair enough, so I told her everything I had a problem with. Everything I just explained to you. And her response, «yeah well they are family so I can talk about you if I want, you are are snob and I hate it every time you come in anyways. Other waitresses even complain about you, and I don’t have to be polite to you. I don’t have to make you happy. If you have such a problem with it, then don’t come back». & hung up. Now, for someone that tipped her sorry ass anyway, do I sound like the type of person who would be rude? No. I said please and thank you to EVERYTHING, sorry you’re such a terrible person and I told you i had a problem. NEVER go to this location. I’m sure others are fine. But unless you want to possibly get beat up by the waitresses, I would avoid this place. Dave needs to clean house.

Cheap place to get a great breakfast. Clean. Good service. Very simple menu with reasonable prices. Has filled a need in the area for a good breakfast diner.

Looks can be deceiving when you first walk in but don’t let that fool you. The fried chicken dinner was delicious.
