About the best tasting fried chicken I have eaten. A typical bar/pub place. Service was a bit slow with only 1 waitress and a cook running the place on a thursday night. The place was very clean. It was open mike night. Most/all of the crowd except us appeared to be regulars. Everybody was friendly. I WILL return

Food is fantastic and you get a lot for your money! Service is not the greatest but at the same time it’s not terrible. The only bad thing about the place is the doors slam super loud when people are coming or going. That is very annoying! However we will return!

Nice local bar with good food and friendly service. Smoking permitted in the bar, but it didn’t seen that bad compared to some places. Large enough for groups. There’s a separate dining area and a large group room. Had country chicken plate with mashed taters and green beans and was very good. Finished with homemade coconut cream pie. Food was cooked right and tasty. They’re known for their chicken plate and I don’t doubt it.

Good ol smokey bar! Canned beer and good food. The fried chicken is great. Lots of Jefferson Counties finest inside.

The service is ok the ambiance is «Bar friendly», everything I ate there was good quality and tasty. Portions are huge on plate lunches. The only drawback is the cigarette smoking, and that won’t change as the owner smokes and he’s usually there. Separate back room is large for parties, or meetings. Fri Nite steak grill is great. Give it a try!

LOVE the fried chicken. Blows Hodak’s out of the water. HATE the cigarette smoke. Ruins the entire experience!
