No stars. The food is just not worth what they charge for it. Probably why she can drive a Cadillac Escalade and the big house she lives in on HVP road. REALLY Pegg???

I got wings and a pizza it was a special on a 16 inch. I got a Italian sausage pizza and green pepper and could have been cut a lot bigger didn’t really care for the little tiny pieces the green pepper and wish it would add a little more toppings on it and I had teriyaki wings they weren’t too bad saying I go back I don’t know probably not for $ 27 that’s with tax

My wife and I have been to Peggs many times and have always enjoyed it, the pizza and wings never fail to please. They also have a very good Philly style sandwich, and some tasty salads. The service has always been friendly and courteous. I do feel that the size of the wings has decreased lately. We like to arrive and eat early, because although I like the idea of family restaurants, it does get very loud, due to lack of acoustics, and pretty hectic once the families start to arrive for dinner hour. That being said we always enjoy our meal at Peggs.

Pegs has the best wings in St Louis! Pizza used to be some of the best I’ve ever had but it’s changed and now I’d rate it as below average. Pegs has no waitresses so it’s a little different, but for the most part, it’s worth the inconvenience.

Took a chance on Peggs for a friend’s birthday. Pizza tasted like cardboard with cheese, according to others in the party. I only order a trio appetizer and an ultimate trio, but someone forgot to start the regular trio. They came out and claimed they combined my order with someone else’s order but no one else got potato skins or cheese sticks. And then I had to wait over 20 minutes for them to get it out to me. Never in this area, but definitely will not be returning.

Mediocre at best. You self serve. Order at counter and get your own drinks. The food is frozen microwaved. A bacon cheeseburger is 10.00 and you have to pay to add fries. By the time you add a drink you are up to 15.00 and they are not worth it. The service is slow and most of the time your food comes out at different times not all together.

Great local place to eat. Awesome sandwiches and salads. Pizza is yummy too! Great service and beautiful place. Good lunch specials though I limit myself to eating here cause it’s in the high side IMO.

Great food, reasonably priced and at a great location. I have recently been working in this area and have had lunch and dinner at this location. Fast and friendly service, I have recommended Pegg ‘s to several people. Try it for yourself.

A great neighborhood hang out. A new location for this local favorite. Wonderful pizza. Nice big salads. Very good burgers. They also have a nice bar. Last time we were there there was a group playing darts and another group around the golf game. Orders are placed at a counter and the food is brought to your table. Self serve drinks. It can be busy and loud. The lighting is low. You are not hassled by waitstaff and can sit and talk with friends for as long as you’d like.

Very good food and great staff. The mildly mustard wings and pizza is awesome! Love the new restaurant and nice bar. Better than Imo’s!

Peggs is a family friendly pizzeria complete with several arcade games. It serves St. Louis style pizza and standard pizzeria fare(pasta, sandwiches, burgers, wings and plenty of deep fried appetizers). Their pizza is a sure crowd pleaser for St. Louis natives. Peggs Restaurant on the Boulevard is located in a renovated former Block Buster store. The restaurant is clean, spacious and the food runners are nice. There is no waiter, waitress or hostess. Instead, much like some fast food joints, you must make your way to the counter to place your order and pay, then you receive a number that you place on your table and empty glasses to fill at the soda fountain. When your food is ready the runners bring it to you. They do seem to fire the apps and entrees separately as they arrive well spaced. The restaurant also has a full bar and I took note that they had a few local breweries and premium spirits featured. Still, this is a family freindly environment. As my dining companions and I were finishing our meal a 10 year old was about to have her princess birthday party at a reserved table with a dozen of her girlfriends and a young couple on an obvious frist date walked in, awkwardly held hands, ordered and sat next to a table where two middle-aged gentlemen who had just finished their pizza and beer were talking sports and watching a game on the tv mounted near the bar. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and always seems to be. The Cheese Garlic Bread is very good. The Meatlovers Pizza needed salt and pepper but otherwise was fine. The House Salad was fine as well. The Guacamole Bites were interesting and I will order them again. Everything cost about fifty cents or a dollar more then it should but, other then fast food there is very little competition in High Ridge and few places are as good in this corner of Jefferson County. I will happly return to Peggs Restaurant on the Boulevard.
