I’ll agree with the other reviewers. Overall negative experience every time I go in. Small businesses can never compete with big-​store prices; and especially not the internet. To keep people coming in they need good customer service and expertise. This place has neither. The employees are generally aloof and BS’ing up at the counter. Many times it is with utter disregard for what some might consider inappropriate workplace topics or language.
Aside from that, the selection is just ‘ok’ and most of the time I have to head to central valley or over the mountain anyway. Its a shame because most true value franchised stores do better than this.

As in the other review, the owner/​supervisor is rude and condescending. There is usually an aloof associate in a cashier/​clerk position of little to no help as well. I like supporting small businesses, but I feel looked down upon when I shop there. Decent stock, prices are in range I suppose, but I’m tired of being treated like an unwelcome intruder when I go in there. I’ve been periodically going into this store for a few years now and I’m just done with them.

I like to support small town businesses, but every time I go in there it feels like I’m intruding. I don’t know if it’s the owner, employee, or supervisor. He is an older man and very cranky and stand offish. I think I’ll take my business else where.
