This place isn’t fancy(I don’t think they even have a website) but the plants are healthy and the staff is happy to offer advice. They had a good selection, well organized. They are also open on Sunday, which lots of N.Ky. Greenhouses are not. This is the type of fami. y owned place I like to patronize. skip the big box hardware store/greenhouse down the street and come here. You won’t be sorry.

I love it here! From the outside it looks a little run down, and like Howard M. mentioned, the staff don’t have matching shirts so it might be a little difficult to point them out at first, but they’re super friendly and very welcoming! The times I’ve stopped by I have had nothing but wonderful customer service. The staff really knows what they’re talking about. Everything is well maintained and organized and there are plenty of options. If they don’t carry something they’ll let you know where you can get it. The staff will even offer up advice on which product might work better if you’ve already got something picked out. Their plants always look wonderful and prices are incredibly reasonable.

So I went into the store looking for clover. I want to plant clover. They didn’t have clover but the woman behind the counter gave me two stores further out in the county that probably did have clover. That’s nice, I thought. I felt as if I should buy something. A pair of gloves that went up to my mid-forearm? Nope, and then she gave me two places that would have it. From the outside the place looks a wreck. The staff doesn’t have matching shirts or uniforms. You’re not sure who works there. But the products seem like things gardeners would use. There didn’t seem to be a lot of cutesy stuff. Also, the plants looked healthy. I’m no gardener and part of the fact that I’m no gardener is that when I see plants for sale outside large stores, they look half-dead. These look… robust. That was nice. I’ll be going back.

This nursery has a great selection of plants/flowers for reasonable prices. We got a ton of stuff buy 1 get 1 free that somehow only totaled less than $ 9. I myself am not much of a green thumb,. but I came with my mom, and she got excited over their selection. It’s one of those places that you don’t know about until you go looking for it, so I’m doing my part in getting the word out. If you’re already in the area at Lowe’s, it’s just a little bit further down Alexandria Pike on the same side of the street.

This place looks a little shabby from the outside, but thats because they put their money into high quality plants, not advertising. The staff is incredable, they even taught my buddy Rick how to trim and store his bananna trees in the winter. They were a great help in picking plants that would survive in our shady yard. If you are looking for a store with great staff, this is it.

I passed by this gardening center today and since it looked like it had a great selection of summer flowers, I turned around and went back. The center has perennials, annuals, baskets, ground cover and anything else you could want. They also stock all the accessories, such as potting soil, mulch, tools, decorative pots. To make it easier to tote your purchases around, they have small red wagons for customer use. I bought a hibiscus and a one of those faux clay pots made of plastic and much lighter than the real thing. I thought both were reasonably priced. As it seemed all the employees were on task watering, etc., you may have to search for a cashier when you’re ready to buy.
