I had the shrimp panang. OMG it was amazing. I swear this was the best ever. If you haven’t tried it then you are missing something special. My better half got the Pad Thai. This is her favorite and I love it too. It really is the best I’ve had. I ordered spice level 7 with the shrimp panang but next time I will go for 6. Maybe, ha. We ordered the Pad Thai at spice level 5. If you are using Groupon please read the fine print. Sunday thru Thursday. One per table or party. Can’t be used during happy hour 5 to 7 pm. Need reservations. 6÷12÷16 Here for Sunday to get me some good thai for lunch. We had another Groupon so we did call to make reservations. There was no need for the reservation since the was only one couple there. The waitress seemed to be a little defensive when I ask a question about a lunch special. Just a general question about the soup and egg roll that comes with the lunch. You could tell by her demeanor that she was on the defense knowing that we had a Groupon. Her response to the simple question was«you can’t use Groupon on lunch.» Also stated that«we give too much away already«. I told her that I just wanted to know what type of egg roll it was that came with the lunch. It was very apparent that she couldn’t hear my question since she had tunnel vision in her mind about Groupon. She stated that«they are no longer accepting Groupon we give away too much already. I thought for sure I was buying my Groupon and extra also. Oh well. The food is very good. I would suggest if Nittha Siam has a problem with«giving away too much already» then it would be a great idea to not be part of Groupon and drop the defensive attitude. That being said, yes I will be back. It is that good. But I will have to take away a star due to the attitude toward Groupon users.

Average place… Average food. Average service… wanted to try a new place and had high expectations based on past reviews but was disappointed. Sashimi was good, but sushi rolls were not great, and thai food was ok. And i was being attacked by mosquitos while eating! Not coming back

Okay food, not really impressed. The house soup was good, the food not so much. We had a lot of leftovers and didn’t bother taking them with us. There were no vegetables in our food, it’s basically just meat drenched in sauce and white rice.

I have to update my rating because I decided to try their pad Thai again(and have subsequently had it many times) and I have no idea want was going on that first time, but it’s been great every time since. The noodles are well-cooked and the sauce flavorful. The only slight niggle I still have is that the spice rating is inconsistent. We usually get one very mild order for my young son and a couple times«1» or «2» has been spicy and other times, I’ve gotten a «3» that is bland. Overall though, very happy we have this restaurant in the area!

Went there for a late lunch today and it was as good as ever! They have lunch size portions and prices in the early part of the day, but in the evening the menu switches to dinner size. I got the Pad See Ew with beef and Tom Yum Fried rice(dinner portion. it wasn’t available in lunch size and price) with shrimp. It was so delicious! The Tom Yum Fried Rice, I wish was a little more potent with flavor like it is in soup form, but overall everything was super delicious! The lunches come with two potstickers and a delicious sauce to dip in along with a small veggie broth soup. The soup was a little bland, but if you’re eating it some thing with strong flavors like Tom Yum, it balances out really nicely. Anyway, 5 stars all the way! It’s out go-to Thai spot! I don’t know if they deliver, but they totally should if they don’t because Northern Kentucky University is less than 10 min away and I know a ton of students would love to take advantage of the the service if available!

A delicious surprise. Looking for a new place and this place was a great find. We started out with the Godzilla roll and Sweet Devil roll. Both excellent and fresh. The chicken Pad Ka Phao heat 8 was perfectly seasoned and the veggies were very fresh. The sauce was delightful. Also ordered the ginger salad and the chicken satay. Both just as good. We will definitely keep this on our dinner card!

We enjoyed lunch. It was pretty good, a bit on the pricey side.

This place is really a hidden gem. The workers are all Thai and they ate their own food out of their kitchen. I glanced on my way out — it was like pad thai or fried rice. Having been to Bangkok a few times in my life, the food here is super authentic. I think this is the top 2 most authentic Thai placed in the greater Cincy area. The only other place that compares pretty well is Banana Leaf in Mason but they have a completely different feel given they are an upscale place and about double the price. The service was attentive though it could have been because we were one of two tables in this joint on a Wednesday night. My only disappointment was not really having a huge selection of things to chose from on the Thai side. The Japanese menu looked interesting too but we stuck to Thai for a Thai restaurant and for our first try. I tried the shrimp pad phik khing and was pleasantly surprised that a 5(on a scale of 1 – 10) is quite spicy and there was quite a bit of shrimp. This place is a good value. They did charge $ 2 for my husband’s extra rice though. That seems pretty steep for just a bowl of rice. But overall, we were happy and we will be back.

Holy sushi! Hands down, this is the best sushi place in Cincinnati. Yes, you heard me. The best in Cincinnati. I know, you’re probably skeptical, but hear me out. This place isn’t much to look at on the outside(is right in front of a Lowe’s in Alexandria, KY…), but it is one of those mom and pop joints that you KNOW is 100% authentic. Once you get past the exterior, it’s a very cute place on the inside. We were immediately seated, and the restaurant wasn’t overly busy for a Thursday night. I will say we were a little overwhelmed by the two different menus(Thai and Japanese) as the sushi menu itself was quite extensive. We asked our waitress what she recommended and one of her top choices was a honey roll. It was incredible! All the sushi we ordered was so fresh and it was refreshing that none of the rolls felt like they were drowning in spicy mayo or tempura flakes as is common in the half price sushi places in the Cincinnati. We also ordered the Panang curry with tofu. This was also absolutely delicious but it was on the spicy side. Order a level down from what you normally would.

Absolutely fantastic lunch… best meal I’ve had all week. I spend a lot of time on the road and eat at a lot of nice places and this place far out paces all of them. If you are in the area and like Thai food. give this place a shot for certain.

The sushi is the 2nd best I’ve ever had. The best being Mikuni in elk Grove, California. This review is coming from someone who’s tried sushi joints up and down the entire west coast and vegas. None came close to Mikuni but this place is in the ballpark and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality. Secondly, I’m a huge fan of being able to eat quality sushi at a low price and not having to suit up to do so. Shorts and a t-shirt won’t draw stares even though the atmosphere is pleasant. Lastly, I tried a plate other than sushi the last visit. The spicy scale is from 1 — 10, I like things a little spicy, a bit more than mild for certain but to play it safe chose 5. I will NOT do that again. 1 or 2 even… if I’m feeling brave. Still 5 stars for taste!

Rarely do I give any place a 5 star. But, I lived the last 20 years in Southern California and I think the quality of food here is better than in so cal. Fresh high quality ingredients made to order and served as they are finished. Yes they are slightly expensive for the area, but the quality more than makes up for the price. My kids love the food as well. I use the group-on s when I can get them. Try and catch happy hour if you can.

Excellent food! I had the first curry dish under curries, a friend had the second listed(red curry) they were both«plate licking» delicious! Another from our group had Pad Thai and it was the best I’ve tasted… and I’ve eaten a lot of Pad Thai(it’s my typical«go to» dish when I don’t want to make a decision) it was a little sweet compared to most others I’ve had(probably why I loved it!) I can’t wait to go back! My friend who got the Pad Thai was planning to go back for dinner to get the curry dish I had… that has to tell you how wonderful it was! They also have spring roll appetizers made with rice wraps(important since I am gluten free)

I ordered Panang, it is really good but the spicy it was too much for me, I ask for 5 of spicy but I think they have a different scale, maybe a littler more spicy than a normal 5. The flavor and amount was great.

That was good! We were fans when this location was another Thai restaurant and are glad that this was replaced by another Thai place we know we can count on. We went there for a late dinner with my wife and teenage son. When we walked in we were impressed by how they improved the interior décor and arrangement of the place. A modern, minimalist look with attention to detail. My wife even pointed out that the flowers were real flowers, not artificial ones. They have separate Thai and Japanese/Sushi Menus. We had the spring roll/wrap with ground pork and veggies as an appetizer — 8 small pieces which were full of flavor whether or not you used the dip. I had the Penang beef curry, my wife had shrimp Pad Thai, and my son had a tuna roll and chicken ramen. I enjoyed the Penang curry — strong flavors and quite spicy for mild. You could also taste the richness of the coconut milk in the curry sauce which had just the right sweetness. My wife agreed with one reviewer that the Pad Thai noodles were too soft. Probably overcooked. She would probably prefer it al dente. She still ended up liking it because of its full flavors. My son enjoyed his tuna roll and really liked his chicken ramen. After he ate the chicken and ramen noodles, he slurped down the broth. So overall we were quite happy with our experience at Nittha Siam Kitchen. We’re glad it’s so close to where we live. We will be back.

I was deeply saddened when the previous restaurant in this space closed. Thankfully, a new restaurant has appeared and I can enjoy incredibly fresh and tasty Thai food. Yay! Sushi and Thai menus to choose from. On our first visit, we were a little overwhelmed with two menus to look at, but once we decided that we weren’t interested in sushi, it made our decision making process easier. We’ve been here a couple of times and so far the massaman curry is my favorite dish here. The sauce was rich, full of flavor and it was loaded with fresh vegetables. Check it out for yourself!

Amazing! Though i couldn’t pronounce most items on the menu, everything we had tasted wonderful. Great entrees, good sushi, great service. The best asian food I have had in years, I was pleasantly surprised. A wide selection of foods(there are 2 menus each 5+ pages). Food tends to be spicy, which I like, so if that isn’t your thing then stay away from even the«mild» spiced items. I have never seen such a large sushi menu. You have to try this place — you may find me here again. Their beer menu is not impressive, but they do have thai beer, mad tree ipa, a great lake beer, all bottles/cans. Their alcohol menu in general leaves something to be desired, but not bad compared to other similar restaurants.

Yes! This spot is now open and while it is a new family/owner, the quality and service are still on par if not better that the former restaurant. I was starving and devoured the tofu(vegetables, chicken, and I think beef are available too) massaman curry. The restaurant is simply and elegantly decorated. The green walls are calming and the tables even had a colorful real flower ;) So, whether you are an NKU student or just in the area, definitely stop by and enjoy some Thai.

Drop everything you are doing and get here RIGHTNOW! You are missing the best Thai of your life!!! I have tried every Thai restaurant I can find in the Cincinnati area and this one tops them all… even the great Thai Express. It’s a small, unassuming place but the interior is gorgeous. They have a sushi bar and plenty of seating for groups. The waitstaff are very friendly and open to suggestions for menu items(I suggested adding Thai Iced Tea and Mango Sticky Rice to the menu and they seemed very receptive since they just opened.) I started with the spring rolls, they were fantastic, nice crunchy outside, the filling was light but not flavorless. The chili sauce had just the right balance of sweet, heat, and tangy. Some of the best I have had. Then I moved onto the Tom Yum soup; three huge shrimp, freshly stewed cherry tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, and Thai basil swimming in a spicy seafood broth with very subtle hints of seafood. Just the right amount of seafood flavor, not overpowering. My dinner partner had the miso soup and it was some of the best I have ever had. The broth was full of flavor and the tofu was perfect. I’m not particularly a fan of miso soup since I’ve had alot of watered down miso soups from local restaurants but this was definitely soup I would go there and deliberately order every time. Very good! Finally the main course, I had the pork ramen and my partner had the Chicken Penang Curry. The ramen was very good, the broth was simple and loaded with fresh vegetables. Plenty of pork and ramen noodles made this dish light yet filling. The soup also has shiitake mushrooms in it which really added a wonderfully sweet contrast in flavor when you got one in a bite. The ramen was very good, but I won’t be ordering it next time I go back… now that is not so much an insult to the ramen as it is a testament to how amazing their curry is! I love Thai curries, they are one of my favorite foods. I have tried every possible version from local Cincinnati Thai restaurants, including Thai Express. Every time I travel I try local Thai restaurants(if you are in Milwaukee WI, try Kims Thai Takeout, you won’t be disappointed). I make my own Thai curry at home so I can make it just the way I like it. I’m telling you all of this so I can make the point that I know a thing or two about Thai curry and what to expect from their flavor… And this curry was probably one of the best I have ever had, hands down. The flavor was rich, deep, and complex with a very subtle but ever present heat. The chicken was tender and not a bit overcooked and the very fresh(yes fresh… They clip it off a plant they keep in the restaurant!!!) Thai basil really adds a nice freshness to the dish. Absolutely amazing. Seriously… If you love Thai food and you live in the Cincinnati area… You NEED to come here. You have my word that you will not be disappointed. We left completely happy and every dish that got taken off our table was completely empty :)
