Skyline Chimney Sweep

Joe selected and installed a fireplace insert for me. He was great to work with — smart, fair, responsive, reliable, and both times he was supposed to come to my house he showed up early (when does THAT ever happen?!?). I moved to the area in December and went through several companies to get estimates before settling with him. Joe’s estimate was one thousand dollars lower than the two other estimates I got — -AND he said he’d be able to get the job done the following week whereas the other companies said it would take them 4 – 6 weeks. The only thing that made me anxious about hiring him was that he didn’t have a great website and he barely had any Unilocal reviews. But then I spoke to an extremely well regarded heating and plumbing company in the area who said they use him all of the time and I figured that just because someone lacks a sleek, developed online presence doesn’t mean they don’t do great work. He does great work and he was great to deal with.

There are so many scam chimney companies out there that you really have to be careful. Skyline is the best. They are local, honest and fair. I would not use any other. A scam company came to my house and said I needed $ 2500 worth of repair. Skyline came out free of charge, did an inspection and said everything was fine. That was 2 years ago and we’re still using it without problem.
