I’ve come here a few times. Every time we’ve gone they are out of the most common donuts regardless the time of day. The two times we’ve eaten inside, the upstairs is dirty. The tables need wiping and the garbage is overflowing. I’m not sure if there is a shortness of staff or the manager is untrained on keeping up with supply and demand as well as cleanliness in the sit down area. It’s worth the short distance to go to the older dunkin on US41.

This is the least coordinated and least customer-oriented Dunkin I’ve ever been to. How hard is it to make a coffee without sugar? Every time they mess my order up here(75% of the time), they insist they didn’t. They never have any eggs either. And don’t get me STARTED on the physical structure of this place. So many flaws

Since this place has been up for a couple of months now, I thought it would have it together a little better but I was shocked at how horrible my experience was. An employee was yelling and screaming in the back while I was placing my order which made it hard for anyone else to do their jobs. While I was waiting for my coffee, a complete stranger started asking us where we lived and asking us to give him a job. The place is crowded, it’s extremely difficult to get to the register because it’s literally one tiny hallway blocked by the staircase, and the employees don’t seem competent. I’ve never gone through the drive through but I definitely won’t be going inside the store ever again.

Sooo irritated. I’m used to ordering vanilla SWIRL latte’s but getting the unsweetened ALL the TIME but this time I ordered 3 donuts for myself and two kids, get home and there’s only two. Hate to say it but the lady who took my order needs to learn better English. Had to tell her twice that I asked for hot instead of iced and I emphasized the«swirl» part because I prefer the sweetness —and i placed my order and was asked to repeat it at the window ANDSTILLARRIVE all the way home with only TWO donuts. As for her learning better English… That’s her prerogative UNTILITCOMESTOMYMONEY because I overpaid and didn’t get at all what I asked for.

«Where’s the Dunkin?» Believe it or not in many parts of the country there’s no Dunkin Donuts and they’re terribly missed or anticipated. It Chicagoland its pretty common. Still this location a 2 story brand new DD in downtown Highland Park was welcomed. My main reason for going is its on the way to work and George’s sitter. Now the first 3 x times it went ok. The last few visits it was not open during posted hours! I often go to work at 4am or 5:30 am and got no response from drive thru or at the door. Outside of that. The shape of the entry of the lot and exit are oddly configured. sandwiches aren’t quite as toasty as other locations. I will say the pastries and sandwiches are consistent with every other DD. I think these things are shipped prefab as nuked or tossed in toaster ovens. The coffee tastes a touch weaker than other spots like they use more water. The service is friendly. But my only reason I’d go is for a predawn drive thru coffee. I want my predawn coffee. «Where’s the Dunkin?» indeed.

Went there first time. Coffee excellent as in all Dunkin Doughnuts. The two employees very courteous and friendly. Now for negative. The place had no customers. Every table was dirty and there were paper goods and crumbs littered throughout both the first and second floor. They need to really focus on this to be successful. I’m not slamming them on rating because I believe they will make this effort. Hope this helps.

We had to repeat our order four times! The two year old in the back seat started to repeat the order! After being charged for two incorrect items, the seniorito gave us the corrected items at no fee. It took 8 minutes from order to receiving.

Great addition to the city of highland park. Donuts are always fresh and coffee is great. They happily accommodate my steamed milk request! Service is fast and friendly. I rarely step inside Bc I love the drive through convenience but the few times I did it was clean and seems to be well managed. A huge improvement from the gas station that was there before.

This New Dunkin Donut upstairs dining room is not handicap accessible. Why would any of us patronize a business that discriminates. There is only one small ADA table by the front door. No way for Seniors who can not climb stairs or wheel chair bound to access the upstairs. What ! don’t the handicap have a right to use the nicely decorated, warm dining room with the big picture windows to watch the sunrise? A previous post noted the mess downstairs and the disorganization well that’s exactly where the handicapped have to eat. Nothing sez WELCOME! more then eating next to a Cooler. If you care about equality notify Dunkin Donuts corporate office directly.

Amazing service!!! Very friendly and very welcoming place since it opened. I love coming to this one well cause it’s close to my house but the fact they are so nice! I’m glad they opened a Duncan donuts cause Starbucks sucks with customer service. And I love the chai latte it’s so good! And not expensive! And the French curlers are my favorite!

A two-story Dunkin’! My kiddos are freaking out with excitement… okay they are 10. Here’s the deal. I cannot speak for the drive thru, but I will say that indoors this place is brand spanking new, and honestly, I don’t think they are ready to be open. I felt kind of bad for them today. We stopped in for a cup of coffee and a muffin, and I felt like we completely caught the staff off guard. They did not seem ready to serve us at 11:00AM, and I think it’s possible our entire transaction took place without anyone barely saying a word to us! It was super weird. They were out of muffins, but the coffee was great! If you’re excited or curious about the upstairs, there are only about six tables, and some were dirty with napkins and such on the floor. Like I said, I think these guys are in training and can’t get to it all. The design of the space inside is awkward and pretty small. Good luck getting to the register in a wheel chair. There’s not a lot of navigation space between the stairs, the beverage fridge and the counter. I’m hoping this is just a temporary location for the fridge. Under the stairs there was a ton of stuff just laying around. Parking is not easy, and spaces are minimal. This is a great neighborhood spot for those on foot or drive thru only. I have no doubt this location will be a hit for the high school kids nearby, as it’s much easier to get to than the Skokie location. Please guys, my only suggestion is to put up a sign that says *Pardon Our Dust While We Get Situated*. We will be back, but I think I’ll wait to give them the chance to get open the right way. Wishing them luck!
